The barter system is great and as previously said a win/win for everyone. We often barter when someone wants sports apparel and they have something we need/want.

I had asked this question before but didn't get an answer. I am curious to see what answer you get. THANKS for asking.

Last Christmas we gave DS a Scooby Doo chia pet as a joke. He and I would always sing the theme song.........Of course, it wasn't cheap (or at least for a gag gift). I think I paid $17.99 for it - and sold it at a yard sale this summer for $2.00! I can't think of anything right off that I want that is odd?????

Like everyone else it depends on the item and the store. I will not sacrifice when it comes to Hellman's Mayo (a real biggy in our house), Heinz or Hunt's ketchup, Tetley Tea Bags (although I did recently buy Kroger brand decaffeinated to add one family size bag with a regular Tetley family size bag and we really cannot tell the difference.)and a few other items.

YEP. GOT IT and it can be very annoying. But, considering the alternative I guess I'll just deal with it.

Yeah that is why he loves working in Buckhead. No one even asks about the price, if they want it they buy it. LOL!!! It has been my experience I have better luck actually calling the businesses than depending on their website. But, it's been awhile since I've actually had to search for something. True but typically a shipment is delivered specifically for the sales in the weekly circular to prevent this from happening. Or that is how it works in most retail stores and worked when Rite Aid was Eckerd's.

I have you down for one UGA Snuggie. The order will be placed this week and depending on how the Holiday affects delivery, they should be here - at the latest - first of the week Dec. 1st. 1st. YEP! That is why last year when Walgreen's advertised a 6 ft. lighted slim Christmas tree Reg. $60 for $29.99 I called to make sure they had it. They did and I was even MORE surprised when they rang it up and I paid $15.88 tax and all!! TRUE!! I would not be a happy camper, either! Sorry!!
