  1. Best Wishes and Good Luck!! It is great you are getting to go back into a field you enjoy. (Not that you didn't enjoy the computer business, but......you know what I am trying to say. )
  2. Benson's was packed, too. I told DH on the way home everyone was tired of being in all week and cooking. Sounds like that was the case everywhere.
  3. We are going to Benson's. Wayne has DH some coconut cake. I am hoping DH doesn't have any trouble with the roads and can get on home from Buckhead I am HUNGRY!!! UPDATE: The special tonight was a 10oz steak w/ 6 fried shrimp, 2 sides & toast for only $12.99. It was the BEST shrimp I have ever eaten. And, of course we brought home coconut cake to have in a bit. YUMMMMM.

  5. SAD - So young to die from a heart attack. I loved the show, too and thought he did a great job with a unique character. RIP

  9. Alabama has THIRTEEN. Auburn has two - eleven more to go.
  10. My entire life I have been a Pisces and now I am an Aquarius. This is CRAZY! Your zodiac sign may not actually be your zodiac sign anymore. Astronomer Parke Kunkle says that due to changes in the Earth's alignment the dates of many zodiac signs have changed, according to NBC. In addition, there may be a 13th Zodiac sign: Ophiuchus. Kunkle says that as the Earth and Sun slowly move the signs gradually change, as expected. The change didn't happen over night either. The 12 signs were designated to different periods of the year almost 3,000 years ago, when astrology began, and sin
  11. Yes I did repeat it and yes I do agree. I will also agree to disagree.
  12. I didn't write the article ~ and I am not going to argue the point made in the article ~ but I think the title is justified. NO other state has produced the National Championship AND the Heisman Trophy winner two years in a row with two different Universities. Facts are facts - NO OTHER STATE. PERIOD.
  13. Most of you know I am Alabama Born and Bred and although Georgia is where I lay my head, Alabama is "HOME". If that wasn't enough, my blood runs CRIMSON with a son named BRYANT. Yeah, I'm Alabama through and through. I just wanted to make that clear so no one feels the need to ridicule me for the following posting. ENJOY the facts: A funny thing will hit your computer within the next week. Somebody will send you a link to Auburn fans posing with the BCS trophy, and the derision will begin. When Alabama fans posed last year, the Internet almost shut down from all the laughter. At the ri
  14. "SHRILLS of screaming by two teenage girls at 12:45 a.m." Wouldn't that fall under failure to comply with a noise ordinance????? You and your husband were patient to put up with it and NOT knock on the neighbors door.
  15. No offense taken. Actually my DH brought home the GRANDS a really nice, pretty, bright green toboggan and they had a lot of fun sledding on it these past few days. But as with MANY items~especially in the South~there can~and ARE~different definitions of words. I have lived in four states and people always referred to wearing a "toboggan" on their heads. IF it is called a toboggan and people want to wear it on their head, then it IS a toboggan. Maybe you are the only one "This has always drove me insane." Just sayin. Thanks for the compliment on the items. They are lovely and nice~especially f

  20. DH "attempted" to go to work in Buckhead this AM but when he got past Barrett Pkwy there were several cars stuck on 120 going up the hill beside Home Depot. He came back home. Fortunately tomorrow is his regular day off so he doesn't have to worry about trying to get there.
