if you are using the bipolar screen as sadie calls it which is the leaves falling and the snow at the top the recent topics button is still there. it is called blue left The simple things in life that we miss when it is gone LOL I wish we could put the smiley's back at the topic titles the way we use to be able to do.. I miss that..

I just found another handy dandy.. out by the topic title, is the forum which the topic is in.. if you scroll your mouse over it, a box will come up click on it and you can read the topic preview without actually clicking on the topic...

That was my first thought

I use the little red/orange box next to topic title... once you read or post in a topic that little box is clear.. if someone else post in the topic after you the little box will turn orange again. you can also go to that orange box to read the post that was posted after you read or posted in the topic.

hmmm.. that is strange... mine worked... however I do not like the way it brings your topics and post up now.. I just clicked on the promote to article button below our avatars.. and it told me I did not have permission to use this feature.. so who has permission to use this and what is it?
