yes I did offer to help with the little girl, and I was not chastising the op.. sorry of that is how it sounded. she has been taken advantage of, however others seem to think she is putting her self in danger by not calling DFACS, and to me the parents did that when they did not leave good information with her to start with. so let me clarify I was not chastising her for her good deed. and I will still help her if she needs it.

I hope she has been picked up also.. if the parents are young they may have just took advantage of a babysitter.. which is wrong... I personally would not have taken care of the little girl with out 2 or 3 contact numbers. doctors name of where they were going and a signed letter giving me permission to have her treated in case of an ER.. I know that sounds extreme, but you just never know.. it only takes a few minutes for a toddler to get hurt or sick.. yeppers she did The op is missing right now on here... hopefully the child has been picked

No one knows what is going on with the parents there could be a good reason why they have not contacted the babysitter, so why involve DFACS and get something started that could have been avoided with just a little more time and patience's? That maybe what the parents need but the child may not need that. for all we all know the child is loved and taken care of, this is just something that happened. and there maybe a good explanation for it. They could have skipped out on their child, then again who knows what has happened until the op comes back and lets us know.

I agree with you, once DFACS gets involved they will stay involved... to the op has the child been picked up yet? if for some reason you can not keep this little girl until hopefully the parents show back up, pm me, maybe I can help you watch her, to keep DFACS from being involved.
