  1. for some reason this post has hit a nerve with me. first of all a parent should always have a back up sitter for occasions like this. second of all the BOE is more concerned with the child's safety and their employees safety then a parent who is worried about a baby sitter. I know parents have to work, I know that when school is out unexpectedly that it puts parents in a bind, but at least one time a year school is called so parents should have a back up plan and not count on the school to always be open. This has always puzzled me on how SOME parents depend on the school sys

  8. I am glad I signed off last night... if it was slow for paying members I can not imagine the flood control for non paying members..
  9. my nephew had to use the church last night.. he was stranded.. I applaud the church for doing that.

  12. my little dog almost went rolling down the steps this morning I had to LOL then help him back up the steps he could not get a good grip LOL

  14. wow what night I had a nephew that came up missing trying to get home, his cell phone died, and no way to get in touch with anyone.. he lives on Buchanan hwy, I think he finally rode in with a driver of the salt truck. he was coming home from work in Austell and it took him about 4 hours.

  17. yep they will wait until late tonight or early morning before the buses have to leave. and since there are no snow days left, and the high school has finals this week.. that will be hard decision on the BOE
