I cooked ribs the other day in the crock pot well actually they were the big back bones I made BBQ out of them.. cabbage sounds good...

I think they have a card now that you load money on and you can use it washing clothes and vending machines... or should i say some schools do. when my oldest son first went to college he had to have rolls of quarters to wash clothes and all.. and the they went to the load money on your card deal.

I so agree.. we use to camp out all the time (in a tent) in my boys were little, I would love to make a pot of coffee in an old coffee pot (not electric) and sit by the water and drink it before anyone else was awake. my husband would cook biscuits in a skillet over the fire.. he is a deer hunter so he is good at cooking while camping.. and I loved it... we had some really great time when my boys were little. I miss those times... also make some ice cream and take watermelon..

Thanks for the offer Eddie.. but she said she does not won;t any more pets.. she will still have 3 out side dogs and one more inside dog, they all were dropped off and she has taken care of them.. she said it hurts to much when you get so attached to them and they die.. and I know what she means.. my boys are doing good. like everyone else lack of jobs is hard for them right now but they keep looking and trying..

I am doing ok Eddie.... yes this heat is horrible on a healthy person... so some one with health issues really need to stay in.. I have been trying to tell my mama that... do you still have your Yorkies? mama has lost all of hers but one.. and she will probably gone soon.. when daddy died his yorkie died not long after he did and then the rest of them just followed.. but they were all close to 15 years old. I always said when i die I would like to come back as one of my mama's pets.. they are treated wonderful...

I feel for you CC I have been out today doing yard work and the other day I cut grass and weed eated.... and I was drained... by the way I seen Ms Jessie yesterday(Tuesday) we went by around 4:30 and came back by around 6:30 and she was still out there... I told her she better get in out of the heat.. she said I am going Darlin..

NC and her husband are wonderful neighbors well maybe not next door neighbors but close enough to be called neighbors I have been to their home several times and they have always made me feel right at home. I got some hot pepper from them a couple of weeks ago and love it.. They are so generous with all their hard work.
