I learned the other day when i was trying to get to my mama that no one pays any attention to ER flashers any more... I had mine on and no one paid any attention, no i did not run any red lights, or stop signs or break the speed limit(to bad) but when i see someone behind me when their flashers on i pull over and let them by. these people were to busy talking on their phones to pay any attention to their surroundings..

we got rid of cable all together and use a antenna we love it, if there is anything i want to see on a cable station i just hook my i pad up to our tv and we watch it through the internet service we have. we have not missed cable at all or the cable bill... and we get a lot of channels

Thanks guys for all your in put, I have taken notes, and have a list of questions ready.. mama's doctor appointment has been moved from may 15 to monday. so after we see the doctor i will know more of exactly what is going on with mama, and hopefully she and i both will know were she stands with this horrible disease. The not knowing on what to expect is the hardest, and mama needs to know if what she has going on with this copd is normal or not. if you have ever had a collapsed lung, and know the pain from that then you know the pain mama has felt when these chest pains happen. she

we use an antenna, no cable here any longer, and we are happy with what we get, if there is something that comes on cable that i want to see i just watch it on the internet, i hook my I pad up to the tv and stream it through that.

Thanks.... actually the doctor she is seeing was her second opinion... she was seeing another doctor and decided to get a second opinion and stayed with this doctor. who was also my daddy's lung doctor. yes she is aware of this and she can tell the difference in the meds causing side affects, and the 2 spells she has had. no she has not, they did do a liquid stress test on her wed when i took her to the ER and her heart is fine they said. it showed no signs of anything wrong. but I will ask the doctor about this when i take her to the doctor after reading about it, she could have very well developed this. so i have added this to the list to talk to the doctor about... JJ I know you have had lung issues for a very long time.. and I also know that Copd can turn to lung cancer. it is amazing you are not on oxygen full time.
