I have been keeping up with this.... and I would love to be there... the permit would have kept the bikes going, and they would have been gone in a couple of hours, now it will be an all day ride, and traffic will be a night mare...

That is what we heard the news to say to.. but when we drove by all was fine..

The intersection will be bigger with turn lanes, so therefore the properties close to mayfield, nebo,hwy 61 both directions will be affected... I noticed yesterday the trees are already starting to come down on hwy 61 going toward villa rica

That one was suppose to have been finished Aug 26, I was wondering the same thing... keep in mind the paper said it will only be operating during school hours.. in the mornings and afternoons. which I think will confuse a lot of people.

yeppers... I guess it is going to happen, the stakes have been placed at all corners, and the meeting was last week for the ones who got the*letter* in the mail.. I think over 15 properties are involved.. Thank goodness we did not get the *letter* so we will not have to give up any property as of right now... so the next time you are going down nebo or you are at the 4 way stop at nebo and hwy 61 look at where your red light is going nebo, mayfeild and hwy 61 suppose to be finished by 2014 oh and the building at the end of nebo that has the canoes on top of it will be gone. co

property taxes last year (for mama and daddy's place) 250.00 they were school exempt, this year since the place is in my name I am not school exempt, 600.00 makes me want to say if we do not have kids in school any longer then why pay the dang school taxes...when my kids were in school we paid school taxes. so we did our time.. i think when your kids get out of school then that should be it... ( I know that is not the right way but it is how i feel right now)
