we went to hiram (death valley) last night and hiram already has their lights up and on, I also noticed on the way home, that there were a lot of homes who had lights up, trees up, and lights on... so when do you put your lights up?

wow... I just watched channel 11 news carry 3000 petitions to dfcs they refused to get the petitions, the gov's office refused the petitions and no one would talk to the news... not helping their case at all. reported time and time again on this child and dfcs did nothing the family was reported 2 weeks ago on this child when the child told a teacher she was being starved and tied up with a belt the teacher reported it to dfcs and they did not check in to it. This case is just getting uglier and uglier as it goes

I agree with every word you said I think once dfacs gets involved they should stay involved and make *surprise* home visits telling the couple to take parenting classes and then forgetting about that little girl... was messed up.... I also think the mother is a little late to show concern now. she should have never ever given up her parental rights., does not matter what the reason was.,.. At 7:13 this morning one year ago I said goodbye to my mama until I could see her again. This year has gone by so fast, but in a way it has been the longest year of my life if that makes any sense, I sill miss her so much, and I am not sure if living in the home where her and daddy raised me has made it easier or harder. I try to do things like they would want me to.
