  1. You do realize it takes weeks for those prices to filter down to the consumer....
  2. The use of common sense will cost you millions in todays court system...
  3. Does this kind of thing really surprise anyone anymore with how often something like this happens?
  4. Maybe, but this what I read in the link above: As well as this:
  5. I don't. She should have served some time and then booted with a dishonorable. This is just another example of how a commitment and obligation mean nothing to many today in America.
  6. Talk to a lawyer and get correct info. She can also reach out the his Sergeant Major of his unit and tell her side of the story to put a little pressure on that way if she wants. Divorce is going to be the same way no matter what. Civil court doesn't care if someone cheats, but in the military you can be punished for it IF it can be proven.
  7. Cox Communications and Manheim Auctions used to have a good amount of AS/400 iseries stuff. Its been a few years since I worked there, but it might be a place to check out.
  8. I would think so. You can probably find a cheaper one at Fry's or BrandsMart....
  9. Yes, and you'll get more from a tanning bed in a much shorter period. It is also a controlled environment which should help in preventing burning. Most research points to burning as the link to skin cancer so it should be avoided.
  10. Depends on skin tone and type. For some this could be true, for a black person not so true. The darker your skin the less your body will produce from the sun. Also, for this little bit exposure you'll need sun every day. That isn't an option for a lot of people because of work and family. The good thing is your body will store vitamin D created from the sun and use it as needed. So if you can get more sun in fewer days you'll keep your levels up.
  11. Your body produces about 10,000 IU of Vitamin D with 20 - 30 minutes of direct sunlight. To get this from milk you'd need to drink about 100 glasses of milk or take 20 Multivitamins... Ingesting that much vitamin D could be toxic, Vitamin D produced from sunlight isn't. There is a huge amount of information coming available on vitamin D. As it becomes less taboo to suggest sun exposure we'll see even more.
  12. Nope. I'm a voice guy. I work with a couple route switch IE's though and can reach out to them if he has any questions.
  13. Few year back I had this goal of working for Cisco. I came really close a couple times.... I'm working for a large company as a consultant now and like it. I have some friends in the Northridge road office. My office is in the same building (6th floor) but I go in maybe 5 times a years.
  14. I post this every few months or so and its that time again... I'm going to start working on my CCIE voice this year and was wondering if there are any locals doing the same thing? It would be awesome to have someone in the area to study with. Also, I have helped others in the past get their CCNA. If there is anyone working on that, or other Cisco certs that might need some help I'll offer up some time. Thanks!
  15. Good read here. Sunshine, Vitamin D, and Death by Scientific Consensus These are but a small part of the article which does a good job explaining Vitamin D, how its starting to be viewed differently, and why its important to get enough of it.
  16. I had a dream last night in which I was told to bet on the Saints... I need to start listening to my dreams! Once a had a couple of things that seemed to coincide. One was some weird life happenings and another was a dream. I used to have an online friend who studied different things like hat and we talked about it. She was convinced dreams have meaning and gave me an interesting explanation of my happenings.
  17. No I am not. Which do you think is worse?? 1) Girl has baby and has to live with that choice 2) Girl is forced by her mother to have the baby ripped from her insides and has to live with a decision she had no control over that will be with her for the rest of her life The girl is 11, but will live with either choice for the rest of her life. There are many adult women who can't cope with termination after they made the choice. What do you think forcing that upon someone will do??
  18. So you are saying you'd have made the decision without the girls input? You don't automatically make adult choices at any age..
  19. I for one still believe in personal choice. Who should we have making decisions in circumstances like this?? You? Your neighbor? A politician? It's the girls life and if she wants to have a baby then she can make the choice. Lets say we start here and force the child to terminate (can't say the real word on Paulding.... ) What is to keep this from expanding in to IQ tests and financial capability assessments? After that we could limit it to only those who think and believe a certain way? Be sick all you want, but be happy the choice is there. After this last election we have s
  20. This was a story straight out of WWE. I'm really thinking of putting on the tinfoil hat and joining the "its fixed" crowd... I just hope it all calms down by next weekend when we get there!
  21. While in the military a few of us played with one when we were bored a couple nights. It was entertaining, but I'm sure one of the guys was moving it. He was pretty damn good at answering questions he shouldn't have known though. Told me my wife burned at the stake for being a witch back in the 1600's.... I think it is very poor taste to market something like this though.
  22. We had a 1/2 cord delivered today and it is really nice wood. Great guy to deal with!
