  1. A lot of people use part or all of their real name in their email address. And most people are not tech savvy enough to use a proxy.
  2. As well as your IP and geo location.
  3. His "identity" would be his personal name, and I don't think I've seen anyone post that, though many of us know who he is in real life. Why do some of us have a problem with this person? I'll list several reasons below. BTW...I was not active here when the situation you mentioned above happened, and had absolutely nothing to do with it. But it was a crappy thing for him to do. 1. He has administrative powers here (same as pubby) and abuses them to hijack other people's screen names. Many of us know the real owner of the member "jughaid", and he has publicly stated here that his scre
  4. The liberal equivalent of "eeeeeewwwwwww, you have cooties!"
  5. Yep. I'm not paying them $100 a year. I've been trying other sites. None of their mobile apps seem as good as Photobucket's, but so far I like Flickr the best.
  6. Photobucket has disabled 3rd party hosting (hot linking) unless you pay for a premium membership. Royally pisses me off! I've used it for many years and have hundreds of pics on there.
  7. I'm not opposed to using tax dollars to try and help anyone. But we need to use them wisely. Throwing money at things we get no return on is pointless. Let's spend the money in ways that will improve people's lives on a more permanent basis. The current programs that lock people into a lifestyle of dependency is not good for any of us, and what it does to the people on the programs is dehumanizing. We should be using our resources to help them become self-sufficient. Teach them a trade or some other marketable skill so they can earn a decent living. We will probably have to provide some ch
  8. Lemme phrase it differently.... Blaming doesn't solve anything. We're all human and not a one of us are immune to having involuntary perceptions. But I believe most of us consciously try to do the right thing. What does solve problems is positive action. We can't undo things that were done in the past, but if we could all stop the silly bickering and blame game, and instead come together to effect positive change, we could do some good in areas such as disadvantages in education and job opportunity within the black community and other disadvantaged areas and cultures. The beauty o
  9. Remember Jack Kemp? He had an idea he called "Enterprise Zones" to encourage economic development in poorer areas. I think that was a great concept. People with education or skills who have good jobs typically don't commit many crimes.
  10. I think there are a lot of reasons, and we could do more to address many of them. But the current policy of blaming white people won't help, it will only make it worse. Education and economic development will go a long way toward improving the situation. Black people are economically disadvantaged. We need to stop pointing fingers and come together to create good jobs and provide better education in poor areas. And we need to find a way to start moving away from the welfare state and start moving people toward a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. Admittedly, this will take some time, possibly
  11. Here are some real statistics for you. I post without any personal opinion, I'm merely conveying the facts. These numbers are a couple of years old, but the trends are still very similar. 50% of the people killed by cops were white. 26% were black. Hispanics are third highest. Statistics from the Bureau of Justice Statistics reveal that blacks were charged with 62 percent of robberies, 57 percent of murders and 45 percent of assaults in the 75 biggest counties in the country, despite only comprising roughly 15 percent of the population in these counties. Blacks "commit 75 percent of all sh
  12. I think he said that "tongue in cheek". Meaning, he was using some sarcasm. But given the current climate, it probably wasn't a smart thing to do. But it should also be pointed out that the likely reason the young woman as scared is because of exactly what we see here on P'Com all the time...constant bashing of cops that leads to an unrealistic expectation that all cops are bad and they shoot people for fun. You cop haters and race baiters are actually making the problem worse by misleading people.
  13. Thanks again, everyone. And no, TP, I look nothing like my avatar. I smile almost constantly.
  14. Thanks everyone. Yes, it's the big Six Oh! But I'm still kicking. And I have great hair. LOL
  15. The fact that you referenced Trump shows exactly what is keeping you from seeing the whole story or the real facts.
  16. It's amazing to me that most on the left can't condemn anyone BUT white and Nazi groups. And you wonder why many of us think you are so terribly mislead.
  17. Racetrac is a good company. They treat their personnel and their vendors and contractors very well.
  18. Some county's health departments are much tougher than others. Paulding's is brutal. That's both good and bad.
  19. In fairness to the Asian place, it's follow-up inspection score was 95. However, given it's history, it would be prudent to monitor their future inspections. Also in fairness to some of the other Paulding restaurants (I doubt this was an issue with the Asian place); the county has a new inspector who is fresh out of health inspector school and she has quite a "god complex". At least two restaurant chains I am aware of have gone or will be going over her head because she is making up rules on the spot that are not actual health codes, and misapplying some that are codes. And, it seems that sh
  20. You're still one of the most toxic people on your site. Oh, by the way...everything I stated is true, but you're free to continue being disingenuous (see I used a nicer term than you did).
  21. Nice try, pubs. Politics trump (no pun intended) science for you. You are the one who takes opinion (so long as it fits your politics) and presents it as science. I'm just the opposite; I see most things through the eyes of logic and fact. I have no party god to worship like you do, so I default to fact. Of course, I don't make my living by serving a political group as you do. Indeed, my day job is physics and thermodynamics. Unlike you, I am actually trained in science. You were saying?
  22. Are you a supporter of this group, TP? https://www.nami.org/#
  23. And there you go with politics. BTW...I actually understand the science behind such matters. You simply read articles about it.
