No one that I know of has called for people to be banned because of their views. Some might have called for certain members to be banned because they constantly make personal attacks on members and their families. But it would seem that those members DO NOT get banned BECAUSE of their views. Which is exactly the opposite of what you are claiming. The intent of his post was to introduce racism into the discussion by implying Georgians were calling her those names, and I submit that as a general rule, that is false.
