I believe everyone has the right to be protected!Regardless of their sexual orientation! But to say that the act in this picture is what this marine was fighting for??? I want marines to be fighting for ALL freedoms, not just the right to be openly gay! Maybe Mark should have refraised his statement if he meant something less selfish on the part of this marine!

I guess I could say the same thing about you!If I'm not mistaken, you and I are total strangers as well, but that didn't stop you from being overly sensitive about my response. I also agree with the op. It is a nasty habit, I do not want to see it dumped where I may have to walk. I just disagreed with smitty's comment about overweight people.

If I witnessed a teens driving that was this dangerous, and I had their tag#,the first thing I would do is call the sheriffs dept and report it. Otherwise, how would the op feel if they saw on the news this evening about a fatal accident involving a blonde teen in a BMW? Then post on a message board. :blink:

What makes you think overweight people are the ones throwing their food bags out the window to hide it from family and friends??? Many, many slim people also eat fast food and throw bags out the window!I have seen this with my own eyes!Stop bashing overweight people!!!

My daughters boyfriend works at the Food Lion at hwy 92 and Brownsville. They are devastated!This has been a very good store for this area. Sad to see it go. So many more people looking for jobs.

Gonna try and post video from Jayron's concert last night.

We attended this concert and it was awesome. Jayron Weaver is an amazing singer/musician. My husband and I have known Jayron and his family for years. Am not a bit surprised by his success!Anyone who missed out on this show needs to seriously make plans for his next one!

Restraunts should not accept food stamps!!This is one way the program needs monitoring. The sad thing is, this is allowed to continue, then the program will tighten up to the point that those who are not abusing the system suffer as well.But on the other hand,they are allowed to by things in the grocery stores that are just as outrageous.Would people be as upset if they found a receipt from a grocery store where someone spent 100.00 on cokes and junk food?I agree this has to change.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you,you can only get a GED if you drop out. so where's the difference?By the way, some of the teachers in this county is the exact reason my daughter "dropped out" of school.Many teachers are burned out ,makes me wonder why they are still teaching.I have no idea where you teach, you may have been one of her teachers for all I know.What I do know is, she dropped out, studied hard, passed her GED and now she can go on to better things.

Thank you.I might also add that she is still only 18 yrs old,and will be graduating the 24th of this month, only a couple of months later than if she had stayed in school. She is enrolling at Chattahoochie tech next semester,and is wanting to become an RN.

The way I see it , it is continued education. And as I said before, nobody except the student or parent pays for the testing. Classes are free and the "instuctors are volunteers". This is a quote from one of the instructors.

The social studies part of the GED is the exact same test that we have been hearing on the news that many seniors are failing. I am proud to say that my daughter aced it with a perfect score the first time!!! And this is only after 10 weeks of studying!!
