Postman, you have to read it in its entirety! Jesus was talking about the young man who had been questioning him. He wanted to know what he had to do to be saved, when Jesus told him to go and sell everything he had and give it to the poor, then come follow Him, the young man was very sad because he was very wealthy. This is the sin, Postman, that he wasn't willing to give up all that he had and follow Jesus. His wealth was more important to him .
