Thanks everyone! Skyline is coming out to give me an estimate. Let's hope it's not something my single girl income can't handle :/
-
Thank you! I've used Skyline for septic problems and was very happy with their service. My water bill has been ranging from $131 to a high of $167 over the past few months. It's normally about $35. I can't imagine there is that much water leaking and you can't see from where. I HATE water issues!!!!

I have a leak in my water line that is not surfacing and we cannot locate it. I would like to just have the water line replaced from the house to the meter. It's less than 100 feet of line. Any recommendations for someone that handles this sort of thing? The other utility lines have been marked and I would like to have someone come out and give a quote this week.

I will! Before my husband moved out we covered some of our ceilings with paneling and added some faux beams. They look really good but he is gone and I can't do the remaining ceilings. I just don't have the know how or strength. My plan is to remove the popcorn ceilings in the remaining rooms and put up the styrofoam ceiling tiles. Viewing the many videos on you tube of the installation of the tiles it is a job I can handle My ceilings....

I plan on removing mine as soon as I can get some time off work. This is the method I am going to use. Looks pretty easy!

I love Shih Tzu! Sweetest babies ever! I would love to have a big dog though. On the top of the big dog breed list would be a Cane Corso My little monster. -
I have a very large bird cage that I had Society Finches in. It is like the one in the link below. I do not have the feeding/water dishes but there are 2 perches with it. I am in the New Hope area. I'll take $50 for it if you are interested. http://www.petco.com/product/112008/Prevue-Hendryx-Large-Black-Flight-Bird-Cage.aspx?cm_mmc=CSEMGooglePLA-_-Bird-_-Prevue%20Hendryx-_-1320068&mr:trackingCode=F7F20DB0-39C5-E211-AFFE-BC305BF82376&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=c&mr:adType=pla&mr:ad=55967186413&mr:keyword=&mr:match=&mr:filter=81284418013&gclid=CJK-5_CFh8EC

Need small retaining walls replaced...recommendations?
chynnapink replied to chynnapink's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It seems no one wants to build a "small" retaining wall. Checking into concrete contractors as well for poured walls. -
I have 2 small retaining walls, one on each side of my driveway at the house, that are falling apart. They were constructed in 1992 when the house was built. It is way past time to have them rebuilt. They are presently constructed of railroad ties. I am open to using other building materials. Whatever is least expensive....single woman income :/ Can anyone recommend a contractor ?

You might try the Nothing in Life is Free training strategy. It has worked wonders with my dogs. I have one that was very aggressive towards the other dogs and this training strategy changed her evil ways. There is nothing to buy and is not hard to start implementing right away. All family members, including the children, must participate for it to work. I noticed a huge change in my dogs in just a week. You will get a better dog with good manners. Here is the link. It's a short 5 minute read to understand the strategy. Promise....it works http://k9deb.com/nilif.htm -
I purchased this Lazy Susan at Tuesday Morning on Dallas Highway. They had several different styles and sizes. Tuesday Morning is a hit or miss but worth a try. Here is mine. It is 21 inches in diameter. Excuse the mess, I am painting my kitchen and things are turned upside down.

We didn't come across anyone needing our assistance but did see many fellow 4x4 owners helping out. My little Jeep Liberty 4x4 did great and got me to the local Publix when my need for chocolate chip cookies became more than I could stand. We did get to go out and play a bit. Check out our Jeep Wrangler fun..... http://s83.photobucket.com/user/chynnablue/media/DSCF9148_zps6b0e2727.mp4.html

Awww Thank you! I think they are pretty special. I can't keep these boys inside. They love it
-
These 2 babies have never seen snow before. They just stood there looking at it. They dipped their noses in and got a few licks. Eventually they joined in on the play and had so much fun

The heat lamps mentioned in this thread are very inexpensive and are great for dogs kept outdoors. I purchased a heat bulb and a fixture for less than $20 at Walmart yesterday. I don't have outside dogs but wanted to be prepared to offer it to one of my neighbors that keeps his dogs outside. My dogs stay inside and even have long johns for those chilly nights

That works. I am off on Thursdays but I will leave the clothes there for you. We are open until 6pm. I will pm you the location

I am off work until Monday. Can you pick up during the week in Hiram? If so I will take the things to work with me and you can pick them up there. Let me know if that works for you and I will pm you the address Prepare yourself for 'PINK' overload. Kyli was a prissy girl I do have a few things in larger sizes but plan on taking them by PetSmart when Jennifer's Pet Rescue is there and donating them for the dogs to wear on the colder days they are out on the sidewalk for adoption. The boy sweaters are tiny. If no one has a boy this tiny I will take them to Jennifer as well.

Georgia Tornado.....I love a well dressed furbaby no matter the size. ADORABLE!!!!
-
A bit over a year ago I lost my tiny girl Kyli and my teeny tiny boy Tristen. I have several items that might be of interest to someone who indulges in dressing their tiny babies. The items will be free. The girl items are all size small. I don't have as many boy items as Tristen was just a puppy when he died. The boy items are x-small. Breaks my heart to go through their things but I need them to be gone. Let me know if you are interested. I am in the New Hope area and work in the Hiram area. My sweet babies....forever in my heart ♥

Only chipmunks so far. He doesn't eat them. He just chases them until he catches them and brings them inside to present to me
