The teachers who cheated were wrong. However, these teachers were threatened; if they reported this, they would have been blacklisted, never to get a teaching job again. These teachers had families to support and while I'm sure your morals are beyond reproach, it's easy to say what you would do in that situation but people don't really know until they are confronted with the situation. Hall personally benefitted from cheating in the form of a paid bonus.Teachers were bullied and intimidated into cheating and while they were wrong to cheat, the message came from the top down. She compromised academic and personal integrity and both students and teachers deserved better. She should have to answer for this.

I'm not sure what the answer is, but she f**ked up the lives of many people, perhaps Orwells idea of closed circuit T.V. could work unless she is too weak, but I don't feel much sympathy for her.

It was used on Billy Joel at the 2007 Super Bowl when he sang the National Anthem. It was used without his knowledge and he was pissed. So much so, he opened his Shea Stadium concert singing the National Anthem to prove he could sing without it.

She definitely had vocal effects, you could see the effects pedal/box next to the piano, but all artists use that. There was echo and reverb but if she was autotuned, it was very subtle. You can usually tell if someone is autotuned; if they do a vocal run or deviate from the melody in the slightest way, it sounds mechanical, so I don't think she was. A while back, I saw REO Speedwagon on VH1 and the singer was heavily autotuned. I know it's used in the studio to correct mistakes or for vocal effect like Cher's Believe, but overuse sounds bad, so you can still tell if someone can sing.

On the show, she was asked by Stern about artists who lip sync and she replied that some 15 yr. old is coming to my show and their parents are paying for it and they deserve to see me give a real performance. I think people have to respect that.
