Wrong. Estimated General Fund Revenue is listed as $47,969,000 (based on 6.65 mill-rate) in both the June 1st and July 9th versions of the budget. Nothing has changed since June 1st. Except now David Austin wants a 14% increase in the mill-rate.

Why were the candidates browbeaten for their opinion on the SPLOST which isn't even in the control of the commissioners? However, on a property tax mill-rate increase, which the residents don't get to vote on, you want to give the commissioner candidates a pass? Come on.
