Don't think I would put that on the skin. I don't even use it without gloves. May be too harsh. Unless the object is to thin the child's skin!
-
Unbelievable! You should have been excused in my humble opinion but I am not attorney.
-
What a great season!!! Congratulations to all of these young men!

I agree! I have always had respect for feelip's opinion. This one is one that does not deserve respect. feelip, on 10 May 2010 - 07:05 AM, said: You're right. He might have to get out of Paulding to get a fair trial. I would hate to have a case against one of the judges inbred brother in laws.

I seem to recall one brave soul with his sign. He actually looked a lot like Clark Kent, better known as Super Man!
-
Wow! Does the defense attorney know all of that!

I was not speaking of Mr, Stout at all. I was speaking of your assumption that the local Party elected him and supported his candidacy. They provide a platform, or try to, from which all candidates may get their message out. You may have to name those folks if you are determined to make this accusation. I think if you go back to the discussion about that issue it was pointed out that the Party has little control over who runs on their ticket if the candidate signs the oath. Thank you. you are correct.
-
Be careful Whitey. You might just have to start naming names here. Just who do you think makes up that Party anyway. I would be willing to bet that you are wrong in most of your assumptions.

What a sweet thing to do. I hope you have the best Mother's day ever mrshoward!!!!!!

I think you may be talking about the BOND that was "Forced down our throats" not the SPLOST. Everyone had a chance to vote. If you have problems with the current BOE then why didn't you go and qualify to run. That opportunity passed the deadline last week. Those who did qualify were the only ones to step up to the plate to serve and they WILL be on the BOE for the next 4 years I believe. No opposition. Talk is cheap and if you wanted to do more than talk then you should have been on the candidate list. JMO

Thank you for chiming in about Adam. The voters in Post 2 have some good candidates from which to choose and I think they should do their own research about the qualifications each of them brings to the table. Sometimes personal feelings concerning a situation can cloud their feelings about the folks who were involved. Whether those folks were actively involved or just bystanders.

Would you like to share with us who the good old boys are that maligned Mr. Stout? I suspect that you would not back any of these guys if a Democrat had entered the race.
-
Yeah I know! It has cost us $1 million or so you have told us. Actually I know both men in that race. I am not sure either of them wants to ride into that seat because mud was thrown on their opponent. I think your support is of a variety that can hurt more than help. I don't know anything about Todd except what I saw of him in the last election. Yes he did help Austin win. That is what he set out to do wasn't it? I do know he has a good reputation in the business field. I think Beverly is also a good candidate in spite of the fact that you are trying to make her out to be something t

Whitey and surepip, if you can bad mouth someone that easily just for working a job that she most likely needed then I won't put much faith in any candidate you do support. I thought we might have supported the same one for post 3. Now I will have to rethink my original choice.

I think this is playing a part in the election for Governor. There are a couple of folks in the Legislature that are under investigation for trying to prevent them with the support of some folks in Mississippi. I think at the moment it is in limbo and they have shut them down. There were plans to build a huge Bingo resort in Gadsden. Not 100% sure though. Indian Reservations have different laws governing them so they could be open.

Amen!! That is how we got "Hope and Change". We have had change all right . Change for the worse!
-
That would depend on what kind of strings are attached to the Federal money.
-
That bridge has been on the list for replacement for years. I guess the flood put more stress on it.
-
I think they (or we) should vote to change that for awhile. I think that unfunded mandates should be suspended for awhile too.
-
Its on Sand Mountain. I agree that we are being sent some messages.
-
We should be thankful that they have had the courage to stand for office. You are right!

I have had an opportunity to speak to Beverly and get to know her a little. I believe she is a capable caring person who loves Paulding County. I also believe she would do a good job if elected. It is not fair to try to turn a job she apparently did very well into anything other than just that. I think we have some excellent candidates running for this post.
