It is a state's rights issue and that is the way the court ruled. They punted on Prop. 8 so that will probably be revisited by a lower court and then they may see it brought before them again.

I wonder why they will be able to break laws without being arrested or deported when Americans will be held accountable. Americans don't count in this Bill. It is worse than you can even imagine.

Trust me they are not skewed. The info is coming from a number of different sources. It will be too late to fix this once it is law. We don't need to wait until then for everyone to know what is in this Bill. He was actually leaning toward supporting it after he spoke with Rubio. He found out the truth and couldn't.

It would cost less than it will to assimilate all of them and their families. It is not about them paying taxes. It is about money and votes. Amnesty was the goal all along. There is nothing in this Bill that will close the border or protect it no matter what you have heard. Just wait until you get to read the Bill.

We did not have a welfare system and Obamacare when the Irish came. They learned English and assimilated without destroying the economy in the process. Different time and 11 million at least to deal with at once. Over 450,000 in Georgia alone. It is a bad bad thing LPPT.

Think I told you that I don't believe they will pay enough taxes to be noticed. They will draw far far more from the taxpayers than they will ever pay in. They will take jobs from Americans especially the youth and low income workers. Most have a tenth grade education or lower and will bring poverty with them. America can't assimilate the great numbers that will become part of the system. It is a recipe for disaster. America will never recover.

Maybe it is designed to be so bad that the House will be forced to reject it thereby making it look as though Republicans do not want to address immigration issues. It can also be redone in the House and sent back to the Senate then redone again to be the way the Senate wanted it to be all along. The worst piece of Legislation in American history.

Even worse! People need to wake up! Eric Erickson is respected in almost all political circles. He is not paid to stir this up. I don't always agree with him.

They are thinking government control and that we should allow the government to look after us all. They don't want any argument either.

I don't have to wonder. The framers of our Constitution had dealt with an intrusive government. That is why they tried to protect against it. I have been against the Patriot Act since day one. I think there will be more because we haven't secured our borders and our elected officials will soon give legal status to some of those who would do us harm and have overstayed their visas. Six of the 9/11 terrorists had overstayed their visas. Just who are they looking at anyway? Tea Party folks?

Going to update my opinion of him. He is no hero and is fast on his way to becoming known as traitor.

Not doing a very good job so I would say we are not getting our money's worth. It will cost us even more to pay for all of the new illegals who will come over the border waiting for the next amnesty this government will give.
