You may want to call a labor lawyer and ask them the question. If they are working 10 to 12 hour shifts then they may likely be entitled to overtime wages. Additionally, they may want to clarify with their employer if they are not giving them "meal time" or "breaks" then why not. Some times the job description and employee handbook will state that breaks are given but the employer does not follow their own guidelines.

We opted for Hilton Head. It was great for our first time and not very crowded. I think the economy has taken care of the crowds most anywhere you go.

It could be a port to connect to shore power. Its an odd spot for that. Do you have a better pic?

I was planning on attending the meeting but I did not make it. Anyone know how many candidates showed? Did all of them speak?

I don't know what the hell you are talking about. But to be fair, post all of the information. There are a lot of reasons to keep a suit going.

I feel for some of the folks who have gone around the ringer with their insurance companies. As a former adjuster for over a decade I understand how things work and how things don't. In my opinion there is a common misconception about insurance and what it will and will not cover. Good luck!

Thats it I am going to bed. I told my wife I should have run for this seat. She laughed, Do you want to be the guy that lost to the MILfer!

Yes. Run again. Nothing will impress me more than getting punched in the mouth and coming back! Maybe if somebody had a little fire in the belly we could get good representation. Also, if you work hard for something, you are more reluctant to piss it away!

Well, you can always hope. I think more people will see how the special election turn out. If the mood of the voters is right, there will likely be more Democrats and Independents running.

I thought Sibley was the best choice and voted for him. This group of candidates was pretty damn weak. I hope that Sibley grows into the office.

Allegations Surface Against District 19 Candidate

Ok. Voted for Ronnie this morning. I was not that impressed with him until I met him in person. He has a mature approach to his stance on the issues. I kind of felt that he had been around the block before and would not be easily swayed. I think this is going to be important for the next person to hold the office. When people get under the gold dome they seem to change. -

Wow. Left this forum last night to go see The Book of Eli and things really went wacko. By the way, That was a great movie. Anyway, the whole point about the President is/was that just like the Mr. Curl, a public servants tenure in office should be judged on all his actions not just one act. I do not defend either person but I do endeaver to understand them and judge them based on all of their entire time in office. Now, I have heard nothing about any of the candidates runnig for the special election but there is a good chance that more people will qualify and run in the fall. I -
Candidates finalized for House Dist. 19 race

I respectfully disagree. The H19 race and the school board are all about politics. The point being that it does not matter if it is the President of the US or the school board. Sucess and failure can not be judged on one issue. -

I don't think that failure is the lack of sucess. 1 year into a 4 year term does not make sucess or failure. -
