i was on unemployment in 2005/2006. i was eligible for benefits for 4 months. back then, the economy hadn't collapsed yet, and extensions weren't available. thankfully, i was able to find a job before my benefits expired. please tell the class how the extensions work now. do they extend only for a month at a time? or does it depend on a case by case basis?

she who? and according to the dept of labor, you cannot collect unemployment if you voluntarily leave your job. perhaps she told you she quit... anyway. if you're pissed at a certain person, take it up with that person. if you think she is receiving aid fraudulantly, call and report her. unfortunately, you don't get to pick and choose who your taxes support. the programs that are tax funded are open to all who qualify. if you have issue about the qualifications of certain people, again...cal and make a report. or cowgirl up and confron this person. i bet she has no ide

you do realize that unemployment benefits have to be earned, right? you can only collect a certain amount, calculated by your earnings in a specific quarter, and you cannot collect that money if you voluntarily quit your job to stay at home with a child. also, unemployment benefits, payable to those who've lost their jobs involuntarily, are not indefinite. as far as food stamps and medical insurance go, i have no answer for that. except that children shouldn't have to starve or die because their parents can't find adequate jobs.

i love it when someone tells me it was the least they could do....... why effing bother if all your going to do is the least? and why admit that you could have done more, but didn't feel like it? people who do the least they can are a lot like guys who do the bare minimum.

good grief is right...... if you would take the time to educate yourself about wildfires and prescribed burning, you wont have to ask questions. it does not take fire to make fire. it can take as little as a pile of decomposing crass clipping and leaves. during the composting process, large amounts of heat build up in the center of the pushed up pile in the woods. that heat can and will cause the pile to ignite, and sled to all the other debris on the ground. then it works it's way up the trees and off of your property. leaves that are equally spread across your lawn pose mu

and they cause wildfires. again, please educate yourself abour wildfires and prescribed burning.

I'm too busy to be funny anymore. I lack the energy to be a smart ass, too. And nothing here really caputures my attention enough to wanna hang around and have a conversation lately. Also, i hate kids, neighbors, stop signs, clowns, and guys who do the bare minimum. I love my job, my car, my dogs, a few friends, and my boobs. but the biggest misconception of me? i dunno...maybe that i'm good at karaoke? or the husband stealing thing? perhaps it might be the swinging rockstar thing... i don't care. to quote my favorite author "Nothing of me is original. I am the com

people milk is designed for people. cow milk is designed for calves. I'm not trying to get anyone to drink or not drink either one. but the concept of people drinking people milk makes more sense than people drinking cow milk. logically speaking. -
working on a farm is voluntary. there is no farm draft.
