Only 3.. there has to be more on this board if your 1 out of every 5 is correct... and I only used a VA loan for my 1st house when I was 20 years old. Since then my other houses, have not been VA backed. Who else is in favor of cutting military/vetrans bensfits? Maybe the 400k in life insurance if killed while active duty (I think Pres. Obama just passed special tax benefits on this money too) GI Bill? Enlisted bonuses? (Most of these are already gone...so I guess it's a mute point) Officer bonuses? (These are kicking into high gear..) Tax free pay while depolyed? H

LOL!!!!!!! No down payment loans for the military have been part of their benefits for a long time.. are you stating you no longer think the active duty military and veterans deserve this benefit?

The rec league parks are not "owned" by the county. They are given supplements each year for capital improvements through the SPLOST. New Hope is on leased land through the county, at a very low long term lease rate. The rest of the parks are maintained by volunteers or park members and the fees are used to pay for land, refs, upgrades, etc.. Yes, there is big money to be made through youth sports...

Why would builders be building home anywhere is Paulding county? The market is over built and was over built a long time ago. Also house values were inflated, if you took out one of those 100% loans against the value, you were not very fiscally smart to begin with. We still have value in our home because we didn't take out 2nd or 3rd mortgages, we paid on our first and made improvements as we could pay for them. If we were forced to sell, even with the reduced value, we would come out ahead. We are buying houses now because we feel it's a smart long term investment in our future. The

The last part of the article is interesting to me... How are those coaches able to run a program if they don't believe requiring a fee is necessary? Sometimes, I think the programs are just trying to keep up with the joneses instead of running solid programs... Are jumbo trons, turf fields, etc all really needed for high school football?

My muzzleloader which was assembled, stained and put together by my dad. It's not the most expensive gun in his collection- by far.
