I should have said old people would prevent me from doing this outside. So no outside venues. Thanks NC...

I am looking for a venue for a surprise party to be given in July. Does anyone have any suggestions on venues that would hold about 50 people. I'm looking for something different than the Hiram Community Ctr or the Dallas Civic Ctr. Any help is appreciated. TIA

Homemade business signs banned in county
MarkPalm replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I stopped putting up directional signs pointing to my listings ages ago. Directionals are helpful for people trying to find a listing that's off the main road. Now that most people have GPS units, it's not as effective as it once was. But even before that, I ditched them because even if they were out on the right days and in the correct places they were still removed. Sometimes the county (not just Paulding) would simply run the bush hog over them if they were mowing. -
Just got a nixle to avoid Cartersville Hwy for the next hour due to down power lines. Jinx...where's my coke?

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a fun movie. Yes there were some short comings in the script, but overall it was good. We watched this a night or two ago. I definitely think Sandra Bullock deserved that Oscar. I had been pulling for Meryl Streep because she was a brilliant Julia Child. But I'm definitely okay with Sandra Bullock winning after seeing the movie. She was that woman. And if Tim McGraw had been more prominent in the film, he should have been nominated as well. He's a damn good actor.

I love to read. I finished a book I had been working on and read another complete book Sunday afternoon. It's a favorite past time of mine.

Basic white sauce. A rue and scalded milk. It's a staple of French cuisine. It's one of the many base sauces.

Jimmy made penne pasta which we covered with a béchamel sauce that he finished with Parmesan and white cheddar cheese. He tossed in some lightly sautéed shrimp and steamed broccoli. So yummy.

We were separated at birth. I could think of no better way to relax. We need to go camping.

Me too JMT. I think it's one of the most brilliant marketing tools I've ever used. Stupid is as stupid does.

A published collection of these anecdotes would probably buy a lot of things. Nice things if it sells like I think it will. -

I use Avast Anti Virus and it seems to get rid of stuff you already have. It's free, the non pro version, and it works like a charm. www.avast.com

This kind of story doesn't make me feel vindicated. This story makes me sad. Sad that we don't live in a society that is tolerant of all people. If we did, Mr. Reker might have felt he could live his life openly. Instead he's created a horrible life of secrets. People are a lot happier when they don't live in fear.
