  1. On Ridge between Austin MS and Kroger there are quite a few bad places. I was pushed off the road one night by someone who couldn't maintain their lane, luckily I didn't overcorrect, but it was so bad it knocked the weights off my tire's on that side, and sounded like I had jumped the curb rather than just being ran off the road. Nebo does have a few bad spots, made worse by the fact that there are curves in the same places, Bob Hunton is the same way in a few curves. I am surprised there haven't been more bad wrecks.
  2. We live off Bob Hunton, I passed by a few minutes ago. There were a bunch of teenagers and young adults there, cars on both sides of the road. I had to slow, straddle the center line, and only then could I move through. The girl was 27 though? None of these kids looked like they were out of high school. Sad situation. Prayers said for the young man who survived and the family of the one who didn't.
  3. Thanks for the info, please keep his family in your prayers everyone.
  4. Me either, I'm guessing it was fatal. I wasn't paying attention earlier to see if they took him in an ambulance or if they took him out another way. I'm not sure why a detective would have been there except maybe b/c there have been s many calls there, most for his health issues.
  5. Wow, if he was at the ER wouldn't they let the family leave to go be with him?
  6. N0 m0re sirens here, they are actually getting ready to leave it seems, coroner keeps coming in and out, or what I am assuming is the coroner, he is in a suit and tie, and has surgical gloves on. This is so sad, his kids and grandkids are there, he has lots of heart problems, a few heart attacks. He hasn't been working on his antique car or walking lately so I was thinking maybe he wasn't doing well again.
  7. And def call CHOA or his peds office, they should have a dr on call, or refer u to CHOA's nurse line.
  8. Quick test for appendix is jumping jacks, if he can do em he is fine, if not ER now. Can he pee? Call me if u need to, my # is on fb.
  9. My wonderful friends Kristin and Randy's daughter Regan I have posted a lot about is being treated at the Aflac at Egleston, they are all wonderful there.
  10. It is on the baby btw, only through ultrasound, not invasive. With that and genetic testing we were able to opt out of doing amniocentestis. I can't stop thinking about your sis in law, I remember how lost and alone I felt right after I "lost" the baby, you feel so unnaturally alone, it was terrible. I will be praying for her, this is a very tough time.
  11. Anencephaly is a neural tube defect. With anencephaly the top of the neural tube doesn't close, when it is the bottom or middle of the neural tube it is spina bifida. The brain stem is there, so breathing, movements both voluntary and involuntary, heartbeat, all still happen, including growth. But without the entire top of your brain life isn't possible, except on life support, which some people do choose. The pain centers, the thinking centers are not there. It is 100% fatal 100% of the time. From what I read sometimes you do miscarry and don't go on to deliver. Winston- have them request
  12. This happened to me, I was pregnant and getting married, the week before our wedding I found out or baby was anencephalic, I was 15 wks pregnant, I went to 3 secialists for multiple opinions and ultrsounds, all said the same, they advised not to continue the pregnancy, so 1 wk after we got married I had the induction and d&c. It was a very sad and horrible time. I felt like I did something, I had been very ill during the pregnancy, morning sickness x's 10, I knew something was wrong. I waited a year before getting pregnant again, I went to a perinatologist and all sorts of high risk dr's t
  13. I'll email you, I'm definitely interested in the sensory integration disorder one!!
  14. THANKS a ton everyone! I finally got it (the riding mower) working, I had to mess with the spark plug. I mowed the yard, and a friend of my husbands came and weed eated, but he has a baby with cancer so I can't ask him to help a lot, he has a ton on his plate. I am very weed eater impaired, I cannot work that thing, and when I do get it going it is super difficult for me to handle. I can't even get the blower working now!! It took me from 11am til now to get this almost an acre yard done, and done is used loosely. My neighbor had volunteered to help, but now is never willing to help when

  17. Been there done all of this, it is so scary. If she isn't home tomorrow evening, pm me. I'll do some drive by's with you if you want, being in a different vehicle when you ride by may keep her from running, and I have a van, with tinted windows in the back! I'll be gone all day, but will help all I can tomorrow evening, I hope she'll be home by then. I hope the parents of whoever she is with will be smart enough to call the police on her and get her butt home.
  18. I sure wish the bottom would fall out and stay out for a while, my grass is looking nasty and dry since we fertilized it and it didn't rain!!
  19. I go to blackberry.com for mine, or at and t. My bank has a bb app, myspace, fb, accuweather, nascar.com, tons of other sites have their own.
  20. Denise, I have been so busy since before and now after my husband deployed to Afghanistan that I haven't been on here for weeks. I am just seeing this. I cannot believe he passed away. I am so sorry. Please know you are in my prayers. You are such a strong woman, you have experienced a lot of sadness and yet you continue to prevail. I am in awe of your faith and perseverance. Love and prayers Ashley
  21. He is being judged now my the only one that truly matters, and he will pay for eternity for what he did to those kids. I think his kids will be better off without his parental influence growing up than they would with his involvement in their lives, I just hope all the wiredness and whatever they were subjected to at his hands can be reversed with counselling!
  22. That's what I told your wife, All the little boys are safe now! Great minds huh?!
