I was reading the following article and I am wondering to myself WHY we have laws if you can "opt" out of following them. How can a college decide they are going to keep an "illegal" in the US AND use taxpayer resources to do it? College Blocks Illegal Student’s DeportationJudicial Watch, Corruption Chronicles In a brazen effort to help an illegal immigrant, a public university in Georgia is spending taxpayer resources to block the deportation of a student so that she can complete her degree next year. The Mexican illegal alien (Jessica Colotl) graduated from a Georgia public hi

This is the "plumbers" mother....could you possibly send me copies of your photos as well...at freebird20050@yahoo. I know he would love to see what you have...... Thanks.
-
Possibly the same one who thought you could cross the strong flood waters in an "inflatable". Stupidy reigns!!
-
So am I reading this right? You are saying inflatable boats are all Paulding needed in this crisis? Thank God you were not at the helm during all this!!! Are you a spokesman for Paulding County? If so, we are in more trouble than I thought!! Inflatable boats are ideal if you are working in CALM water. When people are being swept away by flood waters, it is a different story. It took everything the airboat had to deal with this situation. And for the record, the airboat rescued folks the Cobb Rescue unit had given up on because they deemed it was too dangerous for them to try

The "unknown plumber" actually lives in Haralson County (near Draketown). His name is Chuck Belmore and he lived in Paulding most of his life. He went to school in Paulding and has many, many, friends and family here in Paulding. He did not hesitate when I called at 3am and got him out of bed to try and help.... I am his mother and I am very proud of him and all the local firemen and law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to help their fellow man during this crisis. If you want to PM me, I will tell you how to contact him. I am sure he would love hearing from some o

This was a wonderful description of a Southern Redneck...I have one of these men.....its my son. He did not hesitate when I called at 3am and woke him up. When I told him what was happening, he was on the phone with the Sheriffs office and since that time he has been plucking poor folks out of their homes, off the rooftops of cars, and out of the nasty flood waters using his airboat to go where the others could not. He has been wet going on 12 hours now, been in some of the most god-awful lightening, he has seen snakes, dodged debris, and even had to swim to get to some of the fol

CAN SOMEONE ANSWER A QUETION ABOUT WILLS

I would rather give up something then lose the friendship of my brothers. This is very good thing you are doing, sharing with your siblings. Unfortunately, everone does not have your values and I am just trying to stress to folks to make sure they have their ducks in a row with their paperwork so that they are not leaving it up to someone else (usually one child) to decide if their wishes will be carried out. I STILL NEED TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY LAW BEING BROKEN IF YOU DO NOT BRING FORTH SOMEONES WILL WHEN THEY PASS AWAY......ANYONE???? -
CAN SOMEONE ANSWER A QUETION ABOUT WILLS
freebird20050 replied to freebird20050's topic in RECENT TOPICS
and the truth is no matter what you do to try to help your loved ones after you are gone, there will always be something or someone who does not won't to act right. This is soooooo true. You think you know someone until money is involved and you find a totally different person.... I found out some info the hard way regarding life insurance which I did not realize.... LIFE INSURANCE GOES TO THE BENEFICIARY ONLY AND IT DOES NOT GET INCLUDED IN THE ESTATE----NO MATTER WHAT THE PERSON WHO DIED INTENDED OR WANTED.....MAKE SURE YOU THINK ABOUT IT THROUGHLY WHEN CHOOSING A BENEFICI -
CAN SOMEONE ANSWER A QUETION ABOUT WILLS
freebird20050 replied to freebird20050's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The will was made up with an attorney, notarized, etc. It has not been presented to the Probate Court....that is the problem. The other sister has already filed paperwork saying the mother had no will, even though she knows she did. The sister which was supposed to get everything is currently without a job, no money for an attorney, etc. My question is .... was there a law broken when the sister knowingly denied the existing will? -
Can anyone on here answer a question about wills or tell me where I might find any info for a friend who really can't afford a lot of attorney fees right now...... I need to know if there are legal ramifications (I would assume since it is a legal document somehow it would be illegal to tamper with it) but I am not sure and I have been unable to find out on the internet. EXAMPLE....say if a mother has two children, she dies and has a valid will leaving her estate to only one child . The child left out of the will knows and has acces to the original will, but doesn't bring it forth wh

Hey, I watched it and it made me feel so much better about myself....Here I thought my house was cluttered and this show lets me know I have a long way to go ... No really, it is amazing to see how some folks really live. My son works for a service company and he was telling me about a home he went to last week. Expensive house, expensive neighborhood. When he went to the front door and rang the doorbell, no one answered. A guy came walking around from the side of the house and took him into the basement and showed him what he thought the problem was. My son told him he would

Don't know either of you, but I do understand how stressful it is when you cannot be where you feel you are needed. I wish you both the best.
