I was wondering if anyone else is attending the Crossroads Public Library information meeting that will be taking place tonight at 7pm? It will be held in the upper room at Depew Orthodontics, which is located on Cedarcrest Road near Seven Hills. The library architects will be there, and supposedly there will be a panel discussion, a Q&A session, and word has it that some county officials will be there, too. I am a new resident to Paulding County, and this is the first I have heard of a new library. Has anyone else heard about this? Where exactly is the library supposed to be bui

I stopped at Murph's to try it out two weeks ago at 8am, and there was a sign on the door that said they don't open until 9am on Mon-Fri. I thought they would want to open 7-8am to try to catch folks on their way to work. Sounds like a missed opportunity to me! Unless maybe they tried it and didn't get enough traffic to warrant being open that early?

I would like to know, as well. I'd also like them to hold the meetings later in the day so that the working people of the world can attend!

I am working with Adecco out of the Vinings area. They are not the best. Extremely unorganized. But to me, it doesn't matter as long as they find you a job and the paycheck doesn't bounce! Good luck with your job search!

My husband saw me at class at KSU but I didn't notice him. He IM'd me and we talked via IM and phone before we met in person a week later. We knew we would be married before we even met face-to-face. We dated for 5 1/2 months before we got engaged. We got married 2 1/2 years later (it took me forever to plan the wedding!). We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this week! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Thank you for your warning, Cake Lady. I am not sure why people are jumping all over you about this. I am glad that you reported this to campus security and the police. As a woman, I would be immediately on edge if a man opened his car door and was calling over to me, regardless if he said "excuse me" or not. Doesn't matter if he had good or bad intentions. In this day and age, you can never be too careful. Bad people come in all genders, colors, shapes, and sizes. I am all for helping people, just don't come too close or make me uncomfortable!

We were horrified when we got our 'Golden Lab' specialty tag renewal fee the other day. That is just so wrong! That is not the term that we agreed to when we signed up for the tag. I am so mad about it because we really like the tag, but lets face it - times are tough, I was laid off because my job was sent overseas, and we really need that money! So I guess we will be turning it in for a regular tag, too.

I KNOW that you are just making these stories up to scare me, right? RIGHT???
