I agree, so many just don't care or are very naieve. Open your eyes, pay attention. I would NEVER drop my kids off at the skating rink now. It is far different from the days when we went, ya know, to actually skate and have innocent fun with your friends.

My main memory is of having a 2/12 year old at the time and holding him in my arms as I watched the horrific tradgedy on TV. I remember confusion when the first plane hit. Not realizing exactly what was going on, was it accidental, etc. When the second plane hit, there was no doubt what was happening. I sat there with tears streaming down my face and panicking. EPHS is not an inferior school academically, I would like to see the report too. I see tons of parents who school choice to EPHS as well as EPMs. We being one of them. BBB, you are also right about their not being a shortage of rotten ass disrespectful kids in any school. I have subbed all over, I have seen far worse. The point is, it all starts at home. People need to PARENT their kids, ya know, morals, right from wrong, respectfulnes...those pesky little things that need to be instilled in kids. Also, know where the hell your kids are!!!! I am so sorry for the loss of that young mans life. It a very sad day when a highschool getting vandalized takes precedence over that. I agree with you. I don't get the excessive news coverage either, doesn't make much sense, but what in this world really does anymore? That kid losing his life over 300.00 breaks my heart.

My EPHS student said they vandalized the auxillary gym and wrote some very stupid crap on there. He is upset because he has pride in his school.
