  1. Can a human, a supposed human, really die in peace when they are so filled with hate and poison?
  2. We have used Carolines Florist many times 770-445-6377. They are on the right just before you get into downtown Dallas coming from the post office, it's a small brown house.
  3. Holy moley, is this for real?? Maybe the pilots saw this and decided to see if you really could lose yourself and no one really would never know. This is eerie!!!!!
  4. That's a great idea, I'm certain the boys across the street that she's already bitten would help. I wonder if she became a stray because she bit at someone else's house and they dumped her? Hubby and I have always lived by our own made up motto that 'the right thing isn't always the easiest or most fun, but you do it anyway because it's the right thing. So, that's one reason we're still trying do our best to keep her and to keep everybody safe as well. She's such an inigma, this afternoon my grandson fell asleep in the floor and she snuggled up to him and laid her head across his legs. Bu
  5. That's what we think too and I'm not sure any shock collar or any amount of training will ever make that go away. She's got one chance left and we're prepared to go above and beyond, but I'm afraid without a real herd to round up, she'll just keep herding whatever is at hand, like kids and adults.
  6. GEEEZ, by the time this saga is put to rest one way or the other, I may be on Prozac!!
  7. I NEVER thought I would EVER be a dog person. I didn't grow up with pets of any kind and swore I'd never have a dog in my house. Hubby says that God just laughs and takes notes when you say things like that. 3 dogs, a cat and 1 turtle later, I think he may have a point. Thank you, I'll try anything!!
  8. Well, guess who's still here? I wonder, HHHHHMMMMMM???!!!! I was so set in my resolve to send her packin', but she turns to mush when you pet her and does the blooooop, blooooop, blooooop lick and I think again that maybe she can be rehabed. We're going to check out shock collars tomorrow. Middleschooler is SOOOO right, I AM a PUSHOVER!!!! A tough pushover though.........maybe..................probably!!
  9. Hubby is doing the 5K, but I can't find any specifics as to what time to be there, the route, etc.
  10. I'm in the monority, I like #2, but I think either would be great.
  11. I'm hoping too. Shes still here being too cute, but we're on guard constantly and it's exhaustine. Last night we had our daughters best friend and her husband over for dinner because they are having a baby today, WOOHOO, and they boys across the street wnadered in, all 3 of them and then their mom came too. Dixie was in the back of the house with a gate up, whining, whining, whining, but since she's bitten two of the boys, she couldn't come out. Dumb dog!!!!
  12. I'm sure that there is at least one or two people who don't want me responsible for making that decision for them.
  13. Maybe Poole didn't get bad until the airport was built?? Yea, that's it for sure. Airport=bad schools. Makes sense to me. NOT!! Your post makes WAAAY too much sense, are you sure you're in the right place??
  14. YES....YES....YES....YES make the call. She will be a great dog for someone. I'll PM you my number.
  15. That is a huge concern too, because at this point it is so random. And you're exactly right about knowing you have a biting dog and do nothing. We have worked with her since she wandered up before New Years and nothing has changed. And these aren't tiny scrapes, they're ragidy, bleeding gashes and when she bit the neighbor across the street, it was bruised too. At this point I would never feel comfortable having her near any kids or adults but our own and as I said before, there are to many people here most of the time to crate her for an extrended period or to keep an eye on her. It's jus
