I just saw a man on the news whose wife works there and he hasn't heard from her since the shooting. I would be standing on my head. I really have to wonder if she's OK because I'd be calling anyone in my family to let them know I was OK ASAP. I can't imagine!

Hubby got to work at 6:30 and ironically, his headquarters has no power! It's really not funny because they have computers charging for their trucks, but the power company with no power.....ya' gotta see the humor there.

What a bunch of horse pucky! Taxi drivers couldn't even operate in Paulding until a couple years ago and I swear I don't understand the problem. Granted, cars need to be up to par and safe, but there a lot of cars ten years or older that are perfectly fine and safe. Is revenue really more important than our residents? Apparently so.

My Mom was like that, she'd always say, 'it's comin' up a cloud'. She'd wring her hands and literally panic. I haven't ever been afraid of bad weather, which is odd considering my upbringing. The only time I can remember ever being REALLY scared was when hurricane Opal came through many moons ago, we had no basement and Hubby was called in at 3am because the world was blowing down. Now we just go to the basement and try to downplay any kind of danger with the kids. Y'all just say a prayer and hope it isn't as bad as they say it's going to be!! Fingers crossed!!!

After seeing all night that Arkansas has practically blown away, I've been a wreck. I called and called and just now got in touch with them, they're OK, thankfully, but she said it was bad and their going to be happy to get on the road again.

I've never given severe weather in Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas a second thought, but my youngest daughter is traveling with her boyfriend in his big rig in Arkansas on the way to Joplin, Missouri and I'm on my ear. Added to the fact that they are broken down waiting on a company mechanic on the side of the road near Devils Den National Park in Arkansas, I may not sleep for 3 days.

I know 3 different families looking for 3/2 house and they haven't found anything under $1050.00. One family finally gave in and rented one for $1200.00 a month. The prices for a decent rental are outrageous Has she tried an apt?

I saw the entire video before I posted the link and I still think he's an idiot and I NEVER called him a racist. What I CLEARLY stated in my original post was that 'it amazes me what people will say to a reporter'. And that was exactly my point.
