I was a wreck when middleschooler went to 6th grade last year. I had all kinds of crazy ideas about bullying and violence in middle school. But luckily, none of those fears materialized and we had a great year. Well, great except for math, that was a struggle, but as far as having any issues, we didn't, THANKFULLY!!! He's looking forward to 7th grade, THANKFULLY!

I agree 100% with everything you said! And when something happens, it's usually to the other guy and not the one texting that gets hurt or killed. Self centered a$$hats!!!

Our daughter puts clothes on our cat and she falls down like she has suddenly become paralyzed. (The cat, not my daughter.) It's the funniest thing ever!

Yes and I hate them. And I've already reconciled the fact that I am crazy, so that's covered too! -
You were completely clear in your first post and baiting is the correct word in the above post!

I'm safe, I don't like KK donuts. -
It's already illegal to text and drive and people still do it in droves, a law won't stop them.

Wow, that makes my heart happy!

There's a Dwarf House in Woodstock too.

It amazes me that some people are more concerned with what they want to do than the safety of themselves and especially others around them.

I made my daughter take middleschoolers pics off of her FB page a few years ago. I didn't want his face splashed across the internet where just anyone could see him. Now that he's a head taller than me and weighs 140lbs, I'm not so concerned, but not when he was little. -

It's really sad to me when people can't live their lives without social media. Hubby and I go out all the time and all we see are couples or families fiddling with their phones the ENTIRE dinner. No conversation, no interaction, just 'beep, beep, beep. ring, vibrate, vibrate', etc. I don't care if anyone knows what I'm having for dinner or where or with who. I choose to LIVE my life and not have to post every single thing I do, hoping that others will be approving or impressed. People have no face to face social skills anymore and it's a real shame. -
Well, it seems clear to me that Chick-fil-A is upfront and honest about their Christian values and expect their operators to follow in those footsteps. He should have known praying was a part of the routine and by refusing to do so, he shot HIMSELF in the foot.

This guy didn't want to have sex with his wife because they had a loving, intimate relationship, he simply wanted sex from somewhere and figured that if he asked enough, she'd finally say yes. These two deserve eachother.

The family of murder victims put it in perspective.

Whenever I have encountered someone who was adamently opposed to the death penalty, I've aksed them point blank,'And you would still feel this way if someone raped and killed your child'? Oddly, their answer often changes. I then remind them that the person killed was someone's child. -

I don't give a hoot in He!! how long it took this guy to die. Do you think he gave any consideration to the person he was murdering as he was doing it? Nope. Eff him and the horse he rode in on, like Baretta used to say, 'if you can't do the time, don't do the crime'. 'It's cruel and unusual', BS. It's cruel and unusual to kill an innocent person too but he still did it. It makes me sick that more effort goes into trying to save a murdering, psycho than goes into making sure they pay their debt to society. Ya' think this struck a nerve with me???????????? -
What a couple of dumba$$es. Him for writing & sending it, like that was going to help his cause. And her for putting it on the internet, because it makes her look like an uninterested biotch. Hey, I've got an idea, shower after the gym and turn of the tv off you dumb cow. And for the Hubby, why not try a little romance instead of an off handed suggestion after the gym or a huge, alcohol filled evening? Losers. They need to part ways because it's waaay too obvious that they don't like and certainly don't respect eachother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY..............................
dawneykids replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thanks y'all. We went to Mountasia today and rode go karts and played mini golf. Tomorrow we're going white water rafting somewhere in Tennessee. Lasagna, salad, garlic bread made by my girls for dinner tonite, with chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert. We tend to cater to 'Poppy' because he takes such good care of all of us. -
I'll tell her, thanks!

You're funny!!!  -
Drama, drama, draaaaama. If this stupid chick had have listened in the first place or her parents had have actually parented this spoiled jackass, this new dramatic chapter probably wouldn't be necessary. She needs (and needed) her a$$ whipped.
