Ouch! When that happens, are your crews responsible for the cost, does ins cover anything or is it just the cost of doing business?

Sprint cars seem to be so unbalanced and prone to lifting off of the ground with no warning, fish tailing, spinning out, etc., I don't understand why safetly regulations aren't more strict. But what do I know? -

I don't know Tony Stewart from Adams house cat, except what I've heard about his temper, but I can't imagine that a professional race car driver intentionally killed a guy during a race to try and make a point. Even the most hot headed of guys aren't that stupid or evil. -
That's exactly it, the second kid who's defending himself is the one that usually gets caught. We decided to wait until tomorrow afternoon and see what, if anything, happens.

That's what I'm thinking too. I don't want me or my daughter to be 'THOSE' parents who tattle at the drop of a hat, but come on, don't hit my kindergarten grandkid especially when you're in 3rd grade. A$$hat kid!

I hate the news media. I do. I just saw this on yahoo and the way they are reporting this story is that a poor guy was waking on the track after a spin out TS hit and killed him. All of which is true, however, they failed to mention the fact that the guy was approaching TS and posturing on a track where cars were still moving very fast . If he'd have stayed in the car and waited on help instead of jumping out for a confrontation, this probably would have never made the news. http://xfinity.comcast.net/video/NASCAR-star-Tony-Stewart-hits-kills-driver-on-track/316993603591/Comcast/Toda -
Good for your daughter! We've had the same talk with middleschooler and luckily we haven't had a problem. Well, almost none. There was a kid bullying a friend of middleschoolers and at an assembly at the beginning of 6th grade this bully kid cocked his fist like he was going to hit his friend and three boys stood up and said, 'I don't think so dude'. Thankfully, there were adult witnesses and the bully was the only one to get into trouble. The ironic thing is that now the bully kid is as nice as he can be and they're all friends. KIds! My son has the biggest heart and is the nicest kid ev

That's what we have done too and if middleschooler is ever in a situation where he feels he has to hit back, depending on the circumstances, he won't be in trouble. At least not at home. But with it being a kindergarten kid getting picked on by a 3rd grader, it's my inclination to get on the bus and knock this kid out myself, but alas, that's not what we do either.

In our house, we're big believers in the 'no hitting' rule. However, 4 times this week, the same 3rd grader has hit my grandson, Monday to Thursday, every afternoon. My granddaughter saw it, as did 2 other neighbor kids. Finally on Thursday my grandson slugged him back. There was no hitting on Friday. We've never had a problem like this, do you call the principal, talk to the bus driver, call the bus barn? In my experience, it's usually the second kid that gets caught and I don't want my grandson to get into trouble for taking up for himself.

So, I'm not the only one that thought that? That makes me feel better about the way my head works. -
Their son was murdered too. Sad. 'The Dermonds had three sons and a daughter. Their oldest son had a serious drug problem and was shot to death while trying to buy drugs in a rough neighborhood in Atlanta in 2000, Sills said'.

OMG! That makes me sick to my stomach. It did appear that he gunned the engine and swerve into the guy. WOW! -

They may have arrested the 17 year old, but there's still something very wrong with this story and outcome.

So the correct answer would be, 'Yes. Yes, I do, wanna see it'? -
Holy cow, that's from lightening? How scary and sad!

I was addressing anyone in general with an opinion, not you specifically. You'd be surprised at how much grief a parent gets from actually watching your child and looking out for their safety. 'Give them a cell phone and let them go', seems to be the basic rule of many parents these days, but I'm not one of them. Too much can happen and a phone isn't going to help you.

Luckily, I never have to go to D'ville. That's not a fun ride.
