Is there a point in a very close and valued friendship where you aren't obligated to listen to the SAME PROBLEM over and over and over........INFINITY? I am very careful not to give advice, but to offer a different perspective, an 'outside the situation' point of view. But when the EXACT same thing happens 7 times in a friends 6 month relationship, a pattern has formed and I see no end to it. So when my friend calls, complaining and upset about the same thing, what do I do? Listen like a good friend or say, 'Fix it or live with it, just stop expecting a different behavior from your sign

.........with a bill of $12.95 and very explicit instructions as to what to do with it if I decide not to keep it. 'Take it out of the case, put in this envelope, detach this, put this here', etc. I DID NOT order this DVD, what obligation do I have to return or pay for it? I hate this!

Yep, I've never had to return a key there, but I have at Home Depot.

One reason it may say that at that particular restaurant, is because a man murdered his wife/girlfriend on the sidewalk in broad daylight several years ago. It was awful. BUT, could it have been prevented by a law abiding, gun carrying citizen? Maybe. The store itself is open, but we were there 2 weeks ago and the range hadn't been touched, it's something about the ventilation system not being ready. Unless it opened in the past few days, I'll have to check that out.

I was surprised when I had keys made for my 2010 Hyundai, that it didn't have a chip and it has a factory security system. I was HAPPY, but surprised, so I got 4 extra ones made.

Stoddards is in Douglasville, it's pretty new and very nice. If there is one in Paulding, I don't know about it. Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna is SUPPOSED to be open, but it isn't even close to opening. With all the guns in Paulding, I can't figure out why there isn't one much closer to home.

Well, this is actually a funny story. Hubby cut half of his left pinky off on July of 2010 and they have a new computerized system at the courthouse to take your fingerprints. They got 9 of his prints and obviously couldn't get the 10th one, so we had to wait and wait for someone to come and override the system and then they weren't sure if it was going to work or not. It did, but while we were waiting a lady gave us each a pamphlet with rules, etc.

I just got this in July when we re-newed our permits, I guess gun laws change faster than they can print new literature. Thanks for the clarification.

OK, that I can do, Hubby LOVES red velvet cupcakes. Do we need to pre-order or just drop in? What are your hours? A baby.....YAY!!!! Tubes tied.....YAY!!! I hope all goes well!

I have to admit that before I became as acquainted with guns as I am now, I did get a little weirded out by the sight of one in a holster in public, unless it was a police officer. Now...not so much. Once again, I don't think the guy that is going to rob you is going to have a holstered gun.
-
I'd much rather see someone in public with a gun in a holster. Chances are, that a criminal will have it in their waistband or pocket and NOT in a holster. My daughter and son-in-law both carry at all times, sometimes open and sometimes concealed, it just depends on their clothing choices that day. But they are very aware of posted signs prohibiting firearms and abide strictly by those rules. We were at Discover Mills a year or so ago, Hubby had his gun in his shoulder holster, he took 4th grader to the bathroom and there was a very prominent sign stating 'ABSOLUTELY NO FIREARMS', he prom

I agree with you, so many people dismiss their gut feelings and really do know that there is a problem, but won't face it. Hubby instilled in me a LONG, LONG time ago to 'never go against your gut' and I don't.
-
No, not just anyone. Not a felon or someone wanted by the police, but unless you know that and there is no posted sign, you can do it.
-
I agree completely. The thing is, is that no matter how angry, mad or disillusioned Hubby may become with me, I can't imagine that he'd kill me. EVER. Are there signs pointing that way? Do 'normal' people really do that? Was this poor woman afraid of her husband and did she have any idea that she'd end up dead? We'll never know. What a pathetic coward.
-
Yes it does. The Ga Gun Law pamphlet I have in my hand says that you don't need a permit to open carry, but you must have a permit to carry concealed. Exceptions include any place that is posted 'no firearms', then you can't carry at all, open or concealed.

Thats way less than a dealership, they should advertise that for sure.
-
Unless it has an electronic chip, Walmart does make car keys, I've had several made there. If it does have a chip, you will probably have to go to a dealership.
-
Absolutely, we do!!!!

Certainly not a TRUE religious leader. Can you see Billy Graham doing anything remotely like that?
-
I agree to a point, but he seems much more inclined to tape it and put on the internet. Unfortunately, he gives all ministers, even sincere ones, a bad name. It's just another nail in the coffin of organized religion for me.
-
Thats what I got too.

I still haven't figured out what Egyptian type dancing with Vogue had to do with gladiator costumes. Don't love Madonna, but I did love 'Like a Prayer' with Cee Lo. I always expect SO much from half time and for the last several years, haven't been impressed at all.

Don't hold back now, tell us what you really think!!

Yea, I agree. How could you follow this man.....WOW!
