Bless your heart, that must have been so difficult. Neither of my girls ever had a drug issue and I'm thankful for that everyday. A baby just before an 18th birthday, but that is nothing compared to drugs. I hope all is well with your daughter now, for her sake and yours.

Heart surgery on an adult is bad enough, but on a baby, how scary. I'm glad all is well!!!!

Thank God! I was stunned when I read that that could be an option in the paper on Saturday. Clemency my behind!

I cannot imagine either of my daughters for any reason to refuse to contact me if they were OK. These girls won't go a day without some kind of contact. I'm so thankful I have never been in this Moms situation, it would be too horrible to bear. Of course, we don't know the family situation and that could have a lot to do with it.

Oh yes....I agree!!!!!!!!

My MIL has been in rehab at Ridgeview 3 times in 3 years for pain med addiction and she has no real issues except that she at least 125 lbs overweight and her ankles and knees hurt. Who knew? She would have more than 1 prescription for a months worth hydracodone, oxycodone, any strong narcotic she could get her hands on. They came from real dr's, and pain clinics. She would take them all in a week or two, how she didn't die is beyond me. She OD'ed at my house after taking 17 pain pills and 12 sleeping pills in less than 36 hours and no matter what, she denied and denied that she had a p

So is she missing or not? Have friends really been in touch with her? Why is the news getting it wrong? This is very odd, I hope she is found safe and sound very soon.

See, thats my problem, I will try almost nothing. If I can't recognize it or it has more than 4 ingredients, it's off my radar. It's crazy I know, but it's me.

That would work. I just don't do well out of my element, I'm normally a homebody and I like my own bed. Hubby would go to the moon and I'd go with him, but it would be better if I could recognize something after I got there!!

I'll bet 3M had no idea that they would helping couples communicate when they invented sticky notes!

I said in my post why I would go to France and eat McDonalds. I'm a very picky eater and I'm never going to eat French food, at least Mcdonalds is something I know or I thought I did.

I don't like to travel, but I always thought that if I did ever go to a foreign country, I could always count on fast food restaurants that we have here, to make it seem like I wasn't so far away from home. But if the food isn't the same, nor the decor, it wouldn't be like being near home at all. What will I do now?

OMG!!! I just spit red Koolaid all over the computer and I'm still laughing. Don't think that his sweetness today is an everyday thing, it is not. He is usually more likely to say something like your Hubby did! Gotta love 'em no matter what though!!!!

But I don't think thats the same thing at all. First off, I'll bet you paid full price for them and I also bet that you are EATING them and not simply hoarding them in your garage because they were free. Thats a hard to find item that you love and I'd do the same thing in a heart beat. I think the biggest thing for me ultimately, is that so many of these people could help others and they don't. Even if they only donated a tiny amount of what they get for free, that would be something, it just seems greedy to me and that is such a foreign concept to me I just don't get it.

There was a lady today on one that I watched that was getting paid for the $800.00 worth of stuff she bought. She had $138.00 negative balance and they gave her a gift card to cover it. How DO THEY DO THAT? I get bargains at Kroger and Publix sure, a .50 cent coupon for a .99 cent bag of rice, it's doubled so it's free. But not EVERYTHING I need to feed my family has a coupon attached to it. Quaker Oats...never seen a coupon. Shrimp...never seen a coupon. Bananas...never seen a coupon. How do you actually FEED your family by only using coupons and getting everything for free? My family w

WOW!!! Really, really, really good post!! +1000 -
Hubby is going to be at work until Wednesday afternoon because he has 3 doubles in a row, so this morning I sent him an email telling him to have a good day and to be careful. I'm always leaving notes in weird places so he'll find them after he gets to work to let him know I'm thinking about him and how much I appreciate how hard he works to support our family. A long, long time ago, probably 2 or more years, I opened his box of Pop Tarts and put stickey notes on each pack and re glued the box closed so it looked like they had never been opened. He opened them up at work, said thank

Yea....Hawaiian Punch is never fruit juice.

I hate that this happened to you and I HATE a thief, but to leave your purse on the seat of your car, especially in an apartment complex where the odds of someone seeing are 10 fold, isn't the thing to do.

The announcer keeps saying that these people are saving X amount on their 'grocery' bill. I have yet to see 'groceries' go into their buggies. 200 bottles of hand soap, 40 bottles of worstishire(sp) sauce and 400 packs of Tic Tacs don't equate to 'grocerie' to me. Where is the ground beef or the chicken or lunch meat? These women are a little off the deep end. There was a girl at Kmart for 2 hours longer than they were open and ended up having to leave 1700 items behind because she was going to have to do over 50 transactions and there literally wasn't enough time in the day. Don't ge
