What a great program, I'll see if 5th grader is interested.
-
Trust me, I question that everyday!!!

Thank you mam!! You're right. Honestly, I was that little girl and I guess that is why I am so proud of him. Something that he did on his own, quietly, thinking nothing of it. To him, it was just what you do. Don't you love that? It's so cool when little kids reach out on their own and do something great.

And I'm happy that millions of children haven't been effected by what I think caused my granddaughters issues. Many, many more children are having reactions, just because you don't hear about them, doesn't mean that they aren't occurring. I'm not here to change anyones mind about vaccines, ONCE AGAIN, I'm for giving children vaccines. But there is simply no other explanation for the drastic change the happened in 6 hours to a happy, healthy baby. She has never had any kind of health issues, before or after, no underlying, hidden disease, nothing. If you had seen what we saw, I'm hard pres

Not sure they believe us. We tried though!!

Hollywood didn't have anything to do with my opinion vaccines, I saw it with my own two eyes, as did my entire family. Today, a normal functioning baby. Tomorrow, vaccines. Next day, a baby who stopped functioning. I never need anyone to tell me what to think, I have a brain that works quite well on it's on and luckily I know how to use it. And ONCE AGAIN, believing what I do about this particular vaccine series, I'm still a proponent of having children vaccinated.

Georgia bans some vanity license plates on a whim
dawneykids replied to barrycdog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I just read this article and who exactly has the authority to ban one plate over another, the person who happens to open the envelope that morning? Some of the ones that the approved were VERY similar to ones that they banned. Seems fishy to me. If there is a guideline to follow fine, but if one guy bans GODLVR and one approves ILUVGOD, something's rotten in Denmark. -
That's so sweet!!

Thanks.

5th grader is the one of the nicest kids around. He's thoughtful and generous and helpful. But of course sometimes he can be a kid that drives me crazy and I sometimes forget just how great he can be. He collects little Mystery Halo figures. They're little bitty Halo guys with teeny tiny weapons and when you buy the package, you don't know what you are getting, hence the 'mystery'. He took a handful to school the other day to show his friends and gave one away. I never thought anything about it. But this morning he came out with another handful and was showing me one particular one tha

Maybe I was...........Maybe I wasn't.

OMG....B-U-S-T-E-D. What gave us away!!!?????? And we thought we were so sly!!

Thank you, sometimes you feel like the you're only ones who have issues and it's an odd kind of comfort to know that it's not just you and your family.

They do.

Me too. Park was a fine, healthy 4 month old developing normally, rolling over, smiling, cooing, etc. She got her 4 month shots, forgot what they were, but she was never the same again. The very next day she had stopped everything she had been doing and it's been that way ever since. I WILL NEVER be convinced that those vaccines weren't responsible for her condition. And having said that, I'm still all for shots, it's just much scarier now.
-
Thank you for posting this, any hope we can have for Parks future is appreciated. She amazes us sometimes with the things she does, but in other areas she's like a 3 year old. Even with all of her issues, she's wonderful.

As many of you know, my 9 year old granddaughter is special needs. She has been to just about any and every kind of dr for some kind of diagnosis. None ever came except for 'she is severely developmentally delayed'. Well, daughter and SIL just got home from her IEP conference and it has been decided that she is in fact autistic. We have believed that from the get go, but have always been told that because she can be so engaging that she couldn't possibly be autistic. Getting help for a special needs child is hard enough, but without a diagnosis it has been impossible. Today they were

Life Change Merchandise is out of control

OMG.......I remember those! I think the last kid in our family to have one of those was my nephew and he's now 28. A tip about packing diaper bags. ALWAYS, ALWAYS do it when you return home from your outing and always the night before, that way you're ready to go. Every night before I went to bed, I restocked and was ready to go when needed. -
Yep. 'Hey, I have an idea, let's open the door to this strange black man that I don't know with my kids at home and see what happens'. No freakin' way. I don't open the door to anyone I don't know, no woman should.

Drive-through prank leaves workers questioning reality

OMG. These are HYSTERICAL. My favs were the McDonalds people. I usually don't like pranks, but this was F-U-N-N-Y!! Me neither. -
Bottom line.........This criminal entered a home UNLAWFULLY, broke through a locked bedroom door and locked bathroom door to find this mom and kids hiding in a crawl space. NOTHING good would have come from him finding this family. If he had simply wanted to steal something, he should have taken the TV and computer and gone on his merry way. But HE DIDN'T. He meant to harm that family and I'm just sorry she missed with one of her shots because this scumbag doesn't deserve to draw another breath in my book. I am cheering her and I do think she's a hero. If she hadn't done what she did, she

You're on the right track. But one thing to look out for are the ONE MILLION 'must haves' that you don't really need at all. There is a gadget for every single thing imaginable that you probably have never heard of when you had your son. Babies haven't changed, the doodads have. They need diapers, wipes, change or even two, of clothes, blanket, pacifier, the little bags that you out poopie diapers in, bottles and formula if that's the route you're going, burpie clothes and the best ones of those are cloth diapers. All the extra flaps and pockets can come in handy instead of having to dig and d
