You can buy Deer Repellant at Home Depot (Deer Off, we have used in the past). It works good, however, the main ingredient is hot sauce and eggs. You can mix up your own repellant WAY cheaper than that stuff costs. Actually, after the first year of use, they never came back. We basically have a joint checking account, which we each put an allotted amount into, weekly. That account is for our monthly bills, groceries, etc, if any money is left over, it goes to savings. Oh Man, I feel for you~ This happened, only in our bathroom. There was a "slow" leak under the cabinet. So, it soaked into the wall and down. I noticed some mold on the floor board, but cleaned it off thinking it was from the kids getting out of the shower and "dripping" (same area). By the time we figured it out, it caused sooooo much damage to the bathroom, floor and bedroom (that backed up to the bathroom) we had to file a claim.
