I am truly not trying to argue this point with you and I am very sorry about your daughter's problems. Insurance is all about risk. It's a gamble you take by the policy you choose and the company takes by insuring you. What I have stated above is just my opinion for whatever that is worth and you have your opinion. I am also sure that there are other agents on this board that feel the same way you do. I admire you being in sales, it is a difficult carreer...

You must be an agent and this is sort of a scare tactic. Heaven forbid that no ones child becomes uninsurable but the cheapest insurance is a term policy. In this economy people are lucky to be a able to buy groceries. This is just my opinion for affordable insurance for those not covered...

Kids are cheap but there is no need to insure a kid for more than $10,000 or so. Kids have no debt there would just be burial expenses. Whole life is not needed. The agent writing the application will make more commission though. I was in the insurance business for years so I know how the policies work...

Buy term life for yourself and your kids. Don't ever use an insurance policy as an investment vehicle. Use a financial corporation for that, not an insurance company...

I think that most of the people without life insurance, never had it to begin with. If you have small children have a child rider added to your policy. The cost is pennies on the dollar...
