Those who know me and do business with me see me as someone on the conservative side of a moderate, who wants no government intervention in my private life. I have always paid my corporate taxes with a smile, because that meant my business made a profit.

 

As an employer with 25 full time positions, we paid good wages, paid holidays, paid vacations, and we paid their health insurance 100% after they had been with us for 2 years. 50% after 1 year. And we had 12 to 15 `ten year plus employees when we started downsizing and selling of the manufacturing side.

 

I understand the European way of running businesses, and give them kudos for maintaining good health insurance on 100% of the population for half of what we pay, and providing social security benefits which actually provide a livable income for their retirees. No, I don't approve of all of their social programs, but I think they do a much better job than we do with:

healthcare

Quality of Life

Retirement

Illegal Immigration

OSHA type workplace regulations

Welfare [They require education program attendance and retraining to collect your money]

 

But my no means am I socialist, or even close. I am still very much a capitalist even though I shut down the manufacturing part of my business.

Even your socialist mind has warped your sense of reality. That's what propaganda from the left does. Once you admit to your true self, life becomes much easier to live. I've 'seen' what you're speaking about I would ask anyone who may see this on the board report it immediately.

 

While I normally laugh at the absurdity of any citizen libeling a candidate the thing I saw could genuinely generate a libel suit if published or posted.

Where do you start ?

 

2 years ago, the Powers that Be at the local GOP made it pretty evident who they were supporting, and much to their chagrin, their guys came up short. It was not a level playing field, but ahhhh, justice did prevail, for the most part.

 

The onboard nutcases, including the likes of Ithy, GOP Rules or RR or whatever name he is going by now, who I might add are precinct captains as well, show how far off the deep end our local GOP has gone.

 

I cannot tolerate the "My way or you are wrong, period. Nothing in between and no wiggle room allowed.

 

Again in this election, it is evident the local GOP has their "chosen" slate of candidates, and I hope they fail again in their bid to run the county. Richardson is gone, Shearin is gone, let the rest of their cronies leave as well, and start all over with a new group who wants to represent the county instead of the ROBBER BARON MEGA DEVELOPERS as has been the case in the past.

 

I am hoping Howard Maxwell will step up to the plate and swing the bat when he wants to instead of when he is told to as has been his way in the past. When queried as to why he voted how he did, he replied, "Because that is what the leadership [sic Richardson] wanted."

 

We had the Speaker of the House as our Representative for 5 years. I have asked this over and over, "Please show me what he did during that time for the tax paying voters of Paulding County?". Not the RBMDs, not the banks, not the other politicians or The Facility Group.

 

What did he or the local GOP do for us?
