That means out of the 8 victims who have been identified (and there an additional 2 in the Grand Jury presentment who are not "numbered" as victims, bringing the total to 10), this kid was #3. You do understand that it was the UNIVERSITY Police Department that conducted both the 1998 and the 2002 investigations, right? Meaning...it was "internal" to the university. You do understand that almost certainly, as his superior in the workplace, Paterno would have been FULLY AWARE of the 1998 incident? You do understand that would mean that this didn't hit him blind-sided when another allegation was made in 2002--an allegation, I might add, that was NEVER reported outside of the university?
