From the link. ALL THAT BEING SAID, it’s worth noting that lots and lots of research points to the fact that drinking a lot of sugar-sweetened beverages, like Coke, can have serious negative effects on your health in the long-term.

Neither one of my parents had Type 2 diabetes and they never drank soda. Me on the other hand, I am Pre-Diabetic and I had a 2-3 soda habit a day for most of my adult life. I blame it on the soda. I'm pretty sure the only reason I still don't have type 2 is because I exercise regularly and that keeps the weight off.

Myth: Eating too much sugar causes diabetes. Fact: The answer is not so simple. Type 1 diabetes is caused by genetics and unknown factors that trigger the onset of the disease; type 2 diabetes is caused by genetics and lifestyle factors. Being overweight does increase your risk for developing type 2 diabetes, and a diet high in calories from any source contributes to weight gain. Research has shown that drinking sugary drinks is linked to type 2 diabetes. The American Diabetes Association recommends that people should avoid intake of sugar-sweetened beverages to help prevent diabetes. Sugar

I'm Pre-Diabetic and I was told to eat 100 calories at 9PM each night. If you go to long without eating it will make your morning numbers high, according to my dietitian. Even my DR said if you go longer than 12 hours without eating, your number will read higher on the labs. You really should try and kick the soda habit if you are Type 2. Every time you drink one its like giving yourself a Glucose Tolerance test. Like I said before I was addicted to them, just stopped recently. Only way to control it, I cant keep it in the house. If DH wants a Rum and Coke he better go buy a small bottle and h

Yes, sweeteners are evil. I don't like the taste of Stevia so I just drink my tea unsweetened.

LOL well there you go, you worked for COKE and are going to defend them. 4 can of soft drinks and her diabetes went away. OK I'm not buying that one. Was she drinking REG or DIET? If her Diabetes really went away, I'm betting its because she lost a ton of weight. Do you think drinking all of those sodas caused her to get diabetes in the first place?

Coffee is OK because it helps prevent TYPE 2 Diabetes, where soda tends to cause it.

Any soda a day is bad for you. Doesn't matter if you drink one or 20.

Soda is pure evil. I was drinking 2 a day for most of my adult life, 5 years ago I switched from Reg to Diet, which is even worse. 2 months ago I switched to only putting 1tsp of sugar in my coffee instead of 3 sweeteners and I only drink unsweetened green tea. I still miss my soda. It is so hard giving it up. It is really addictive. ETA I only drink one cup of coffee a day.

See that is what keeps them going, people with good hearts. I know in my area it is a scam. We've had people offer them jobs they don't want it. Cash only. She even puts a pillow underneath her shirt to make it look like shes pregnant. All you can do is call the cops and they make them leave, but they just go somewhere else. http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss57/dallasred/th_begging_zpsomfuwluv.mp4 -

OK I just asked my sister. She was 57 when she finally went one year without a period. Seems like we do it late in my family. From reading the only thing that you can CONTROL that makes you Menopause earlier is SMOKING. It comes when it comes. Be happy, we still have our youthful glow, that goes away when the Estrogen does. UNLIKE. -

That is what happened with my Step MIL she is 64, went 10 years after Menopause without having a Hot Flash and they started back up this year. My other MIL is 68 and she never stopped getting them, they just don't come as often. Crazy, you cant stay on Hormones forever. My DR yesterday said if I took them in the future I have a 3% higher chance of getting breast cancer. I know that isn't that high but I will not take the chance. I still have a 14 year old daughter and I want to live to see my Grand babies. Gas X. -

Good to know. Does insurance pay for this? What is the purpose of taking it at all? Why should we mess with Mother Nature? How long do you take it for? -

Menopause is when you go one full year without a Period. That is normally at age 51. At 48 sometimes I get 2 a month UHHHH, I would say I'm in Peri, I have a few of the symptoms of it. According to both of my MIL's they are getting hot flashes years after. They are in their mid and late 60's...That is crazy. I hope I don't go thru that. I never remember my Mom having them, but she passed at age 63 of Breast Cancer so I cant ask her about it. It is accurate. Age 51 is the average age of Menopause. 1 full year without having a period. -
Did you watch all of them TP?
