It's not really being fortunate, it is because my husband served 25 years in the Navy. We could get insurance for free if we did Standard but there is a ded and we pay 20% of the costs till we meet the ded. I would rather have Prime with $12 co-pays and zero co-pays if it is preventive. Anyone could have this plan if they wanted to make the military a career. We have a sep plan for Dental, we do that thru his civilian employer, their plan is cheaper with better benefits. I think we pay $60 a month for that.

It will go up $10 bucks for us next year. Cost is $565 for a family....For the whole year.

Back in my day, I got off the bus and walked a mile home, instead of riding the bus the whole way. Bus drove by a road that led to my house and did a big circle, but I will tell the truth.....I only did it when it was nice outside, none of that I walked 10 miles in 2 feet of snow stories.

Mine rode the bus till this year. She is in HS and the school is literally a mile or so from my house. I see no point in her getting up super early to sit on a bus that is overcrowded. Here in Coweta the middle and high school ride the same bus. Unreal. So yes she is no longer going to ride the bus ever again. My point, many people who drive their kids to school have a reason for doing so. The middle school is 10 miles from my house so she rode the bus then. Cant wait for her to be 16 so she can drive herself.

So glad someone else drives my daughter to school and I pick her up 20 minutes after school gets out. I keep my sanity that way.

I took the kids out for Mexican. Today I am making Turkey and Dumplings.

Half of my yard is tore up and it's still not fixed. They are saying they will have to dig more. I feel like I was mislead by the owner. He made it sound like they would just dig up a little and if that didn't fix the problem new lines would be on the side of my house.
