I will be the first to admit I don't know much about WELFARE..My family was never on it and I have never used it...I just remember one of my college professors saying how it was for single women..I guess single fathers could use it..The reason being..The single mom has to take care of her babies..Where if it was a 2 parent household..The man can go out and get a job...When I say welfare I'm talking about housing..Not food stamps or WIC...Also Medicade I know married women can use that but only when Pregnant..It is more for the children of poor families.

I have a question..Some of you said your parents had to get on welfare...So I read it as both of your parents were married and living together..I thought only single mother's were allowed to get welfare benefits..Can you explain it to me? Have things changed over the years? TIA

Also how many times will the child move from FOSTER HOME to another FOSTER HOME..Like I said before there is just no easy solution for this

I thought you re-fi'd last year..You always have to pay closing costs..It is starting a brand new mortgage...Key is to not pay $$$$ on POINTS..Did you try USAA? I used DCCU not sure if you can use them. It does seem funny how if you are about to lose your house or are late on the payments they are more willing to help offset the costs
