Not Dallas, but the Chevron at Dallas Hwy. and Lost Mtn. looked like there were a couple of cars at the pump when I passed there around 9:45 this morning.
-
I'll check it out! Thanks!

How would people know that? I understand plastic bags over a pump, but that just screams price gouging. Sorry, not trying to be nasty, but what news shared this code? As I said, I can understand plastic bags over pumps, not that. Thankfully we've all got enough gas to get us to work this week.

Son sent me a picture of the station charging $9.99.30 for a gallon of regular. Shell station at the Acworth Travel Plaza right at 92 and 75. I'd share the picture here if I knew how. To top it all off, he said they have a four foot statue of Jesus inside the store. Makes me want to print off a copy of the governor's mandate with WWJD written on top. I'm surprised Shell's corporate lawyers aren't all over this. The gouging, not the statue.

All the stations on my way home from work (Dallas Hwy./Bob Cox Rd) were out as well as Grand's at 92/East Paulding. Chevron at Dallas Hwy./Lost Mtn. still had gas. Hubby took my car and filled it up, I was down to less than a qtr. tank, and he's gone to hopefully get his car filled up.

Son called me this afternoon while out desperately tryning to find gas, wanted to know if he could use premium as opposed to regular since that's all he could find and that was scarce. Told me one station near hi is charging $9.99 a gallon!

I saw pieces of the interview last week or the week before. He appears to have some serious issues. The constant smile on his face was very unnerving. -
Congrats!!

I was kidding.

Kid, that was made in the 70's or early 80's. Meryl Streep was definitely in this movie. The movie I watched was The Naked Prey. Hadn't seen it in years, it was on Netflix, whatever, great movie!
-
It took place in Africa, and was very brutal in the beginning, and I think they got of their footage from National Geographic. Do people still join the French Foreign Legion?
-
I could, and have watched that movie more times than I can tell you!
-
It was made in 1966, I think I saw it in '69 or '70. Sort of brutal in the beginning, but a great story. OK, guess! Oh, and I think the director was also the lead.

Thanks Obama. What was it, after Katrina, when there was a huge interruption in pipelines, and I got off work needing gas and you couldn't find it anywhere. You couldn't get gas that night. The governor of GA at that time put everyone in a gas emergency. Correct me if you can, and darn it, I think I'm down to a quarter of a tank.................And I've got to go to work tomorrow!
-
Sorry, brief lapse there.
-
Folks, I know what it means. It was a joke, a play on words.
-
Really?

We were at Publix, not Ingles.

FFS, if I had to be out in this heat for hours I'd probably do the same thing! DC can be as hot as it is here, sometimes worse, and Lord knows I'm tired of 90's everyday. Funny how this major breaking news is not being reported on Fox News. Oh, and she has a cough, don't forget about the cough! FDR had polio, and he got us through WWII. And The Donald wore bobbie pins in his hair while in Mexico which was another stupid news story.. Our Founding Fathers would be so proud.............................

While we were leaving a grocery store (the P one) off Old 41 and B Pkwy and loading our groceries a man stopped his car, rolled down his window and said "Excuse me mam, can you tell me how to get to Loganville?" The man was obviously distraught and told me his dad had just died in hospice. He told me he was out of gas, the gas station wouldn't help him and their was nobody at the church up the road to ask. He said he was having to ask people for help. The man was wiping real tears from what I could tell. I know what I did, what would you have done?

I wonder if she'll be buried at Bonaventure Cemetery.
