I wish, you don't get the money just credit on your bill. And you can only get 10 credits a year. I seriously doubt I'll get that. But the new customer also gets $100.00 credit. In this day with $ so tight every little bit helps.

I'm really not sure what OnDemand is. We have a DVR that we can set to record anything we want to watch. We can set it to record something at least a week in advance. We can set it to record a series every time it airs. Not sure what the difference is.

Are you wanting to recycle them for the $ or just recycle?? I can come get them if you just want to get rid of them. Cub Scouts has a bin on Buchanan Hwy, they are saving for a Scout Hut.

Why don't we have recycling in Paulding County?? Why don't they do the glass bottle deposit like they do in many states?? I just don't understand why we're so far behind. We use a lot of glass bottles.

I have DirecTV and we can both get $100.00 in credits if you let me refer you. They are set up differently, I will agree there. I'm not a big On Demand user, so I see no difference. I resisted for a long time but I'm glad I made the switch at home 10 years ago. Didn't have the option til lately at the office, we needed high speed internet and HugesNet (directTv's internet) stinks.

I'm sorry I thought Kirby's comment to Milanese was snide and unprofessional. While they had all their plants stand up and tell them what a good job they were doing, when they were questioned about approving the millage increase before the budget, Kirby's comments were totally out of line. Reminiscent of the old commission board. Not only did he get the "smirk", he also got a smart *ss comment. Not good.

Sometimes doing as you please may not be the right thing at the time. I was taught to choose my battles wisely. We found another place to build our offices and warehouse and have been able, until this year to keep 12-15 people employed, right here in Paulding County. I still believe if you do the right thing, good things will come of it. There was no urgency and I had nothing to gain fighting with my neighbors. In case there is any doubt this actually did happen, here is a copy of our letter sent to planning and zoning dated in 2000. I'm sure it is still on file there.

Thanks everyone, prayers do work. He had surgery this morning to remove several areas that were indeed cancerous. The surgeon feels he got all of it :yahoo: They'll know for sure in three weeks, they are going to do a scan then. If there is any residual, they will do radiation.
