My avatar is a happy penguin. I had a plain penguin for a long time that I would change/photoshop for the seasons. But when I saw this one - I just loved it and have kept it for a pretty long time. Ask your ortho doc to refer you to a pain management doctor. DH went to one for an epidural and it has worked out great for him. He can have 3 a year but it's been about 6 months and it's working good. I take Sam-e for joint pain and dh takes glucosamine and chondroitin for his joint pain - both take a while to get into your system 2 to 4 weeks. Both are over the counter supplements. The pain stresses you - then the stress contracts muscles and causes more pain. If you can get the pain under control while you are getting treatment - hopefully you can get out the downward pain spir

I'm so glad that they told us the night before - it gave us the opportunity to be there...and to explain they needed to tell her parents the night before also. They got her family's blessings also - but I feel that would have been hard to overcome with her family if they had not told them before hand also.
