Have you ever heard someone say, "who cares?" What does that mean? Does that mean that you should provide them with a list of people who cares? I ofter wonder why they don't care. It seems, to me, that if they cared they would,'t ask such a short question. Are they just saying that to let you know they don't give a damn? If so; why don't they just say they don't give a damn? Can someone elaborate on that?

We Are A Society Of People Who Don't Really Know Ourselves
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
As people know, I don't care what the status-quo is all about. I like for my friends to know the truth about themselves. What they think about me doesn't matter. How can I be concerned about my friends well being, if I am only concerned with my own well being? I know that I get rebuttal, from things I say. But, people who don't want to know the truth, don't have to listen to me. I am not talking to them, anyway. I have been attacked, many times. I used to think that if you do your best you will succeed and be valued. But, I know myself, now, and I don't need to succeed to be valued. -
People who don't know themselves, well enough, are highly vulnerable to all kinds of external influence. But, when those external influences strike at our sense of value and worth, we tend to be especially vulnerable, much more so than when we have made up our minds about our value and worth. If someone tries to persuade you that you are a thief, they can't get to you, because you are the one with the facts about that. You know you're not a thief. Now, if they challenge something more abstract and subjective. Like maybe your intellect, your likeability, your sensitivity, your talent, or yo

Hogan is a good man, in a lot of ways, CO, but he is ugly in that picture. -
Secretariat, is a horse. You will see something, "you an't never seen before," when you watch this movie. It's out on DVD! This horse beat the other fastest race horse by 31 lengths; not by a nose, not by 100 feet, but by about 250 feet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKmuvjL2cVw

I realize that some people are not as smart as a fifth grader, and that is a lot of people, according to the way Jeff Foxworthy has it set up. But, we learn to be as smart as we can. I believe that criminals, from dysfunctional families, do much more changing that common bullies do. It goes back to the book I read, that says "People Do What Works." If it works, and you don't get in trouble with the law, there is no reason to change. Some people are passive aggressive, because it keeps them out of trouble with the law. Benevolent people care about others, but mean people only care abo -

Don't Apologize, V P! I glut for punishment. If I didn't I wouldn't stand up, speak out, and talk back. I would just go with the flow of bigotry. -

I apologize! I will have to do it another way, in order to get the video up. My link Just Google The Wording Below. I Can't Seem To Get It To Work. http://www.howdini.com/howdini-video-6640668.html -
I didn't realize that female "IQ" mattered as much as it does. The same can be said about my own "IQ", too. But, I want to talk about women. I love a woman who knows what she wants out of her life. If she is also pretty, it's nice, but not necessary. Before I got married, I experienced mean girls, and it seemed to me, that the prettier they were the meaner the were. But, that was not the best analogy, either. I found some high "IQ" women who were also pretty. Now, when I say high "IQ" I'm talking more about the benevolence side of "IQ". I don't like mean people, whether they are women

Control freaks can't stand for anyone else, but themselves, to have freedom of speech. They can start a topic about random thought, but they want you to stay in context. Have you ever heard of random context?

Mr. Postman,, this should bring a smile to your face

Thanks, L R! It's good to have you talk to me. Yes I was inspired, so much, by Kevin Costner that I decided to change my screen name. I feel like the young man who maintained the Post Office, even though Kevin Costner had tried to abandon the situation, after General Birmingham killed so many people that Kevin Costner cared for. What inspired me the most, though, was that Costner was just a common man, who was identified as The Postman, while he was just trying to survive. But, then he realized that he had it in his heart to help other people who had little defense against Genera -
If Good, Educated, And Moral, Teachers Just Kept Quiet
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Because we are a society of people who don't really know ourselves, we are highly vulnerable to input from all kind of external sources. It's parents, peers, authority figures, news media, TV ads, Hollywood, and the Internet. If we really know ourselves, who we are, what we believe, what we don't believe, what we are all about, then we wouldn't be casting about allowing someone else to define us from the outside in. People need to stand for something, in my opinion. If we don't know ourselves and "stand up, speak out, and talk back," for who and what we are , then the door is open fo -

If You've Got A $1,000,000 That's Good

Sometimes I feel like I have an arse like a $40 mule, and everybody knows it. I think, "oh no, here they come," sometimes. I just say, "hay, how are you? It's good to see you!" But I'm thinking, "beam me up, Scotty ... this is horrible. Some people can have me kicking my own $40 mule arse, before I know what's going on. -

If Good, Educated, And Moral, Teachers Just Kept Quiet
Eddie Bennett posted a topic in RECENT TOPICS
For lack of room in the topic I may not have been perfectly describing what I am intending to lead to, in the subject matter. What I mean to say is not that there are NOT a lot of good, educated, and moral teachers, who don't speak up; letting their knowledge be passed along. It's that there may be lots of knowledge, which common readers and experienced individuals could stand up, speak out, and talk about, from their accumulation of wisdom. I'm not saying they have to be perfect, and be good spellers, good at typing, or good communicators. What's important, I think, is that they take -

Very true, LPPT! I don't agree with you, as you are able to figure out, just because I like you. I agree with you in a way that you are also able to figure out. There are some things I disagree with you on, however! It's like where you said: “It is difficult for me not to let my baser side lead the way and agree with the beatings, these are more than likely criminals, it always comes out that they had been in trouble or were guilty.” Allow me to show you a video that describes why it is not always the case. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj31Goz_MyM -

There is another things about kids that a LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND. When some parents go to the jail house, to get their child, they tell the police that they don't know why their son steals car radios, because we give him everything he wants! -

My problem is not that I don't know how to communicate with other people. My problem is that I cannot multi-task very well. Ragging on myself, and trying to defend myself, is already two things. If I am trying to communicate with someone else that is three things, and I can't handle it, sometimes. -

I agree, he should have gotten 10 to 20 for attempted murder. But beating an unconscious man deserves about the same. What were the cops intentions? Was that attempted murder of a man already down? What if the man was already suffering from an injury that put him close to death, and the kicks was proven to be what killed him? How much punishment should an unconscious man get, before he gets to court?
