  1. At least, e-s, I don't conform to the status quo, and I don't have to. I don't care what somebody else labels me as. If they think I am a cave man that is their opinion of me, and it has nothing to do with my opinion. I make the choices of how to keep control of my own life, without input from the outside opinions of anyone else. Trapping me, by putting a label on me, would take away choice that I should make if I were to comply with whatever label somebody else has stuck on me. If somebody kicks my arse, because someone else slapped a label on my back that says "kick my ars," and I get m
  2. A corporation (dictatorship) cannot be controlled without the Dictator. If you are not the Dictator you have rendered yourself nothing more than the sixty-third "sheep" from the left in row 15,638, or it could even be much further back. The only way you know who you are is that somebody had told you who you are. Who you are is a result of the dictatorship you joined. It's a process of actions, reactions, and interpretations, that a dictator has made about you. You have started ignoring who and what you want and need for yourself, because you are obligated to the dictator. You have sel
  3. It works like that in corporations, NC! it's just a bigger ranch. But, it's the stockholders holding their stock, and their monkeys. If a person is the eighty-seventh "monkey" from the left in Row 563,732,916, and he/she gets out of line they will hear a whistle and the monkey dog comes to herd them back to their place.
  4. I get more responses from talking about a monkey ranch than I do about getting rich, and how to do it.
  5. You caught me, NC! I've gotta give it to you, on this, hands down. Knowing how to get other people's money seems more like what I should have said. Knowledge is, indeed, the key. CEO's do more thinking, and so do stockholders, than the people lower on the chain of command.
  6. In my opinion it is better than saying douche bag, which is a monkey ranch.
  7. Rich is a lot of money, whether you are filthy rich or just slightly rich. I can think of a lot of people who are filthy rich because they work for large corporations. A corporation is usually owned by stockholders. But, the CEO is sometimes richer than the stockholders. The chain of command dwindles to the bottom of any riches. Even though the CEO makes more money than the stockholders (owners) do they are all richer than the people lower on the chain of command. I am rich in freedom, NC! This is mainly because I live in the United States, but not all of my freedom comes from living h
  8. Thanks, e_s! That is grate advise. I haven't seen any lately, but I have seen these kinds of transactions in the past. I'm going to check mine now.
  9. A working person can only get rich, in money, by working for himself. It's like this; if you are an adult, and you live independently, free from dementia, a brain tumor, or some other involuntary disorder; you are accountable. It's easier if it's somebody else's fault, that you are not rich, but that means you have not been responsible for you own independence. It's easier to be a victim of someone else's decision making than it is to be accountable for your own life. Don't get me wrong, because I am nor rich. That is because money doesn't make me feel as rich as love for my fellow man do
  10. When people reply to something I have said, and they use a word like always, nobody, everybody, or anybody it confuses me with the indefinite meaning of these words. My meaning may have been more definite than to use words like this in an understanding of what I have said. These words seem to throw a monkey ranch into the possible understanding of the message I'm trying to convey. Have you experienced this situation when posting a topic?
  11. I have not used the word nobody, NC! What I have said is simply that some people don't want somebody else making the decisions regarding what they do for a lot of their waking hours. Some people really don't mind allowing somebody else to make decisions about what they do for a heck of a lot of their waking hours. No matter what I say it's going to always be that way. But, there are some of us who like to take the blame for the results in the way they live; good or bad. Being as on target as laser-guided missile, and working only on the things I want to do, gives me a head start in c
  12. I've been accused of being a victim, but that label is not about me. If I am a victim I have created that statistic from within; not from what somebody else told me. If there is a problem regarding being a victim (of my own decision making) I will acknowledge accountability, and start doing something about it. I understand that the solution lies only in myself.
  13. I would be mistaken if it were you, LC, I felt needed to hear a lot of what i say. I am glad that you responded, however! When a person is as satisfied as you, and markdavd, seem to be; it would not be a good idea to change anything at all. But, people who have sown their peas crookedly, and their peas have come up to show their line, its time for a change. And, I'm not saying an overnight change. Change takes a lot of time. Nevertheless, we don't want to live the rest of our lives knowing that we are gathering peas from a crooked line. The sower may mistake and sow his peas crookedly
  14. Getting intelligent, moral people, to overcome any misguided loyalty they may feel toward the leaders in this community, and deal with the truth as it really is - is not an easy task. Some things, people need to know, supports personal goals better than the things they already know. Overcoming resistance and excuses, and then getting people to accept the real world facts, allows people to more closely "take care of their own." I believe the more you work for someone else the less you work for yourself.
  15. Are you one of the anyone, or everyone, e_s is referring to, rays? "The only answer to anyone who would be your critic eventually - and that would be everyone - is to ignore you, which allows you to play the victim with no comment from anyone." ~ eym_sirius
  16. To really understand someone, what do we need to know? Is it important that we know what someone or some group of people are really all about, so we can know what we have to offer that will be of interest? If we want to be truthful it is often something people doesn't want to hear, and we get some really strong argument in that case. But, if it's the truth we have conveyed; does it do more harm than it does good? That is the question. Going along to get along is not being concerned with the facts as much as it is the emotional side of things. Emotions may be helpful in some
  17. Making things personal, e_s, is not what it's about. I stay away from personal insinuation and talk in general. I didn't single you out until you volunteered, and opened that door. Nobody's perfect, and I know I am not smart. It has been proven, many times that I can't spell S***, and I don't know what the H*** I'm talking about either. Thanks for your reply, again, e_s. I am sorry if I have offended you. But, a good debate can arouse enthusiasm among the populous.
  18. Sigourney Weaver has shown some really pretty legs, when the weather permitted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S54ZaA93j4k
  19. People with money, if it wasn't won in a lottery, or was inherited, have knowledge. Show me a man who has a lot of money and I'll show you a man who knows how to get other people to do what he wants or needs them to do. That is if he didn't win some lottery, or inherited his money.
  20. Thanks, LPPT; I'm glad you reminded me of that. I'v got some crab grass that needs controlling better that it was last year, and I heard it better to kill it in its early stages.
  21. You really know how to hurt a guy, e_m! Turning everything I say into a personality trait doesn't make it any less true. You might as well call me a liar. If you want to label me I can't do anything about that. Your credibility is much higher than mine, around hear. But, I understand that is just the way things are around here. Nevertheless, I appreciate your reply!
  22. Is U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G just something we don't really want in our lives? It seems to me that we should understand someone and know what makes them tick before we can connect with them. People are all different. In fact there are no two people alike. I think even identical twins are not as alike as they are thought to be, by many people. We need to see similarities between our own values and the values of another person before we can ever expect to persuade them that we are worthy of have a good way of thinking in regard to any issues at hand. If we are going to deal effectively
  23. You might be a night owl, GGGM, but there is nothing horrible about you. I think you stay up to make sure all your friends and family are safe, before you go to bed.
  24. I'm happiest when I am in control of my life whether it's spring, summer, fall, or winter. I have learned that anybody can handle smooth water, or good weather, but the people who are happiest know how to stay afloat or stay comfortable when storms are raging. When the magician spreads the cards out face up, and shows you how a good life can be snatched from one filled with disaster, you'll know how the trick is done.
  25. Knowledge is more powerful than any job, a lot of money, or even good health. With knowledge you stay healthy, you don't just inherit it. With knowledge you stay in good financial health, you don't just inherit it. With knowledge you know how to get other people to do the things you want or need them to do. Think about it. People with knowledge know what buttons to push to get people to move in their direction and adapt their ideas, values, and even their belief's. They can also predict what other people are likely to do or not do, because they have a masterful U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G.
