For years, the Sears billed itself as the place “where Americans shop.” Nevertheless, Sears’s auto repair center, which generate more than $3 billion in annual sales, have been charged with being the place where Americans get robbed. Spurred by a 50 percent increase in consumer complaints over a three-year period, several states conducted undercover investigations to determine the legitimacy of those complaints. “The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs found that all six Sears Auto Centers visited by undercover agents recommended unnecessary repairs.” Will Atlanta consumer

Just because somebody labels ethics as IGNORANCE doesn't mean it's true, Mrs. O!

This is what I'm talking about, LPPT, when I see wise supervision! Neal Boortz said, in an interview, he was more liberal than he appears to be on his radio announcements. I don't remember what the interview was all about. But I heard the part I just stated. People want me to post a source of my information, and I just don't know where I got it from. I actually believe Neal Boortz is ,more liberal than he broadcasts that he is.

Wise supervision doesn't mean ignorant speculation, Mrs. O! It seems to me that the speculation of my work is one sided; not by the administration, but by other posters and repliers. I don't have the kind of lack of ethics that is prominent in the state of GA..

This is not Fox.com, PSD. People on hear are supervised wisely. We don't report that the President has been assassinated unless he has indeed been assassinated.

I don't do it all the time, Mrs. O, but I do forget to mention all the locations I get my information from. Thank you and BS for keeping me on my toes. I do need to list all the places I get information from. Where dis PSD get his information from. He said. "the current P-BO administration wants to take it away by ramming socialist programs down our throats. Of course, for those looking to suck on the government teat, P-BO's and the Democrat party's programs are wondrous to behold."

People who pillage this country of it's resources, whether by robing others of work that the pillagers want do, or simply taking more from the earth than can be replenished, are to dependent on other citizens, and the country's beneficial abilities. I declared my independence today. I no longer believe anything on the basis of what anyone else believes. Everything I've been taught, regarding what I'm supposed to do when I'm in a certain ethnicity, in useless for me now. When I'm in Rome I will refuse to do what the Romans do. In Georgia I refuse to do what Georgians do. I am myself. Nobody is going to interfere with my independence. My life, in Georgia, has consisted of doing what Georgians do. But, I have decided that Georgians are not ethical enough in my way of thinking. Of course, when I am in Alabama where they

Look at the years between 1962 and 2004. All we need is to do what we were doing back then.

Wikipedia, I got information from Wikipedis, in several different places on their site. I put them together to create this story. Thanks for your concern, BS! I know you love me.

I don't care what you've been told, what you learned in school, nor how you think things ought to be. You are not independent when the social order has you convinced that you must do what someone else wants you to do. The more social order you can possibly stay away from the more independent you are. Consider Richard Proenneke: He was a naturalist who lived alone in the high mountains of Alaska at a place called Twin Lakes. Living in a log cabin he constructed by hand, Proenneke made valuable recordings of both meteorological and natural data. That is about as independe

In many societies people have been deliberately cultured to conform to standards set up by social order. One obvious ritual took place in ancient Egypt where social order was so important that a person would be put under a floor, in a container of water that allowed him barely enough space to breathe. And, after a day or more, the person would be removed, with the theory that whatever mental belief he/she reported having, which was not considered appropriate by the social order, would be a significantly dealt with. When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to

Pubby may have his hands full, I don't know, but with his wise supervision he prevails. If not somebody else could take over the business. -
A Hard-Wired Compulsion To Triumph In The Debating Arena
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Consider this example. I posted the fact that Sears was considering Georgia a place it might move operation to from Chicago. It could have about 6,000 possible job offerings for this state. But nobody responded to the fact that this could be a reality for us. Why did nobody respond? I think it is because of the potential for jobs, even though those jobs could be a determent to the rest of Georgia's citizens. We want all be working for Sears, even if 6,000 jobs do open up. Reasoning: Sears, Roebuck & Co. is a venerable retailer at which generations of Americans have s -
I vote for government, PSD! I can't vote in a corporation, who want to provide healthcare insurance for employees. I don't want my employer having anything to do with my healthcare insurance; what if he/she decides to get rid of me? In Georgia you can be fired for a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all. It's only the government that will help me in that situation. I may need Cobra insurance, which is something the government has to help me with, because my employer would have thrown my arse to the alligators in the mote.

A Hard-Wired Compulsion To Triumph In The Debating Arena
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Fundamental understanding is often associated with outside sources. Some of us have been hard-wired to a certain degree, in a cultural way. There is even some honesty among thieves. But, a universal rule such as " do unto others as you would have them do unto you," stand a good chance of being manipulated by an ignoring of certain criteria. Your cultural standards might be questioned, and that is not something you want to be involved in. Just because the rest of the Jones's, like the ones in Guiana, commits mass suicide doesn't mean I am going to commit suicide, myself. -
It seems to me that rather than get into a reasonable discussion, people will ignore the opportunity to talk about something that really needs talking about. Universal rule allows for us to be civil beings. We coexist with the people we associate with, whether it's on a discussion forum or in a public park. Deontology is a necessary part of coexistence, but some of us are not familiar with it. They are simply hard-wired to try to win in any arena they associate themselves with. That means there has to be a loser or they don't win. I love it when Pubby comes up with the win-win way

The Set Of Moral Principles (Values) That Govern
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Consider these examples, Peanut butter safety laws sets standards for contamination during the manufacturing process. If Georgia ethics allows contaminants to get into the peanut butter, it will make people sick. Ethics has not been as good as the laws of this state. When occupational safety laws are are not sufficient to protect employees, of a South Georgia sugar plant, from losing multiple lives of our citizens, ethics does not need to be eradicated any further. -
Notice the word govern. Why do some people separate government from themselves? Government is administration, management, supervision, authority, leadership, etc.. Government is just as prevalent in one organization as in another. No matter how small an organization is it has a government, which is to say; it has administration, management, supervision, authority, leadership, etc.. If not there is no organization. It's no surprise that people want less government if someone else is the governor. We all like for our own principles to be the rule of law. But, we may not be the superviso

Are You Willing To Fight For What Is Right
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have noticed that some people are proud of our soldiers, but if they had to fight the first thing they want to do is retreat. -
"The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Thanks, Mrs. O! Yes, he did do exactly that. He was about 15 years my junior, but we talked a lot. I was more concerned about his health than he was. This has a lit to do with this topic. It's the emotional part that has to do with it. As I have said, I am a very emotional person, who hopes he is not some off the wall wacko. The only thing that keeps me going is my health, and my emotions. I like to get other people's emotions going, as well.

My brother-in-law died last evening of a heart attack. My sister is doing in much grieving today. Shen said he died happy, though! His doctor had been trying to get him to pay more attention to his health. He liked burgers and fries, and said people have to die of something, and he might as well die of a heart attack. The last time I saw him he was enjoying a big fat burger, and a double order of fries ans a super sized soda pop. He lived in Huston Texas, though, and mot Mississippi or Georgia.

I get a lot of emotional feed back, Mrs. O, and I am very emotional. It helps me understand other peoples emotions. When I have an emotional outburst I often wonder is I am a common person, or am I some kind of off the wall wacko. I talk about a lot of things that people are very emotional about. I like to understand why, and the reasons why are often in other people's reactions.

I know Mississippi has us beat, when it comes to neglect on the part of our children. We all know that states in the south lead the nation’s obesity problem, so it’s no surprise that Mississippi and Georgia also have the highest rates of obese children. According to data collected by the National Survey of Children’s Health in 2007, 20 percent of more of children eight U.S. states are obese. Is this survey biased or does it have a lot of reality associated with its findings? Mississippi has the most obese children, with a percentage of 21.9, but Georgia is very close with a r
