Would You Allow Someone Who Makes Bad Decisions
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My uncle died from emphysema, which was caused from smoking according to several doctors in care or his healthe. They gave him medication to help him breathe. It was good to hear him not struggle to take a breath. But, he used the medication, along with oxygen, to open up his lungs enough to smoke more cigarettes. I hope he died happy, but evidence to the contrary shows that he was very unhappy when he died. -
I wouldn't allow someone who will do their own lungs this way to make any decisions that might effect me, in any way; would you?

People hide some of their ways; not just men. The U.S. Supreme Court, and Wal-Mart, just set women back a great distance. But, I think they will overcome that setback. I suspect that women will be in the drivers seat in this country in a few years. They are more determined than men are. Men let the big wheels take them to where ever they roll, while women refuse to let that happen to them.

I remember the guys, thinking they were feminists, back in the 1960's.

Are You Really Protecting Your Pet Against Heart Worms

People don't wag their tail, in a jester that they are happy to see you even though you may have kicked their arse the day before. No matter how bad you treat most dogs they will forgive you much easier than a human being will. Human being's are more like pip bull terriers than most other dogs. They will go for your throat quicker than most dogs. But, nevertheless, I tend to like human being better than dogs. I am in the human species, and I tend to love my own species more than the K9's. -

I love my dogs, but that what they are; dogs! People who think more of a dog than a fellow human being is in the wrong species themselves. -
Actually she is not as stupid as he is, bigsky! If she belongs in the kitchen he belongs in the septic tank. He is definitely a piece of sheeze, in my book, now that I know him better.

I heard a conservative friend, of mine, say, "go back in the kitchen where you belong," to his lovely wife. He is not a very close friend. Thanks, copschick! I'm glad I'm not a conservative.

My dogs stand a better chance of being struck by lightening than to contract heart worms. I don't intend to protect them from being struck by lightening but by means of making sure they are in the house during a storm. If they get heart worms, or even if they get struck by lightning, it want be because I spent money on Heart Guard or on lightning guard. Thanks for your reply, gog! -

Posted: 5:02 pm EDT June 21, 2011 Updated: 6:45 pm EDT June 21, 2011 LAKE CITY, Ga. -- At one south Georgia farm, a 40-acre field of cucumbers is rotting. "They're just scared to come here," said Jason Tyrone, owner of Tycor Farms in Lake Park, Ga., about the migrant workers who would have picked those vegetables. He says Georgia's new immigration law, known as HB 87, has kept migrant workers, many of whom are in the country illegally, from coming to the state and doing the seasonal jobs they've done for decades. "A lot of the migrant workers that normally come through here when they l -
My preferences never really mattered, because no woman ever cared what I thought. I just feel lucky to have found a woman who can put up with me. I love my wife.

"A single day of sub-zero temperature is not enough to create three feet of ice." What did the Chinese mean by this? Great things cannot be accomplished in a short period of time. I've been working on the railroad, for little pay, but now I get more money. -

It's not my work, and I don't claim it as such. I think I mentioned that Wikipedia is where I got some of the information. But, this is a common awareness to people who are intelligent enough to understand its significance. Just because I understand its significance doesn't mean I wrote all of it. I did however add a few of my own points. I used spell check, this time, also. Thanks for your appreciation of my mind, M O! I would not have notices such a desirable thing about my mind if you had not told me. -

Below is a pie chart by which you can locate your percentile as to how much wealth you share in collective U.S. distribution of it. I don’t suppose you are among the bottom 50% on the percentile chart, so I suppose you are somewhere within the 50% to 90% on the percentile chart. If that is the case you share 26% of the wealth, in this country with 40% of the people. That means that 90% of the people have only 28.5% of this country's wealth, while 10% of the people, in this country, have the rest, which is 71.5% of it. Now what's worse is that 2% of the people, in this country, have 33.5% o -

Leaders in this country, who personally understand cooperation, are to often afraid to compromise, and change, because of selfish local interest. Once people have exhausted their abilities to change, from a downturn in an economy, their fear of change of any kind increases. Even if the change will help them in the long run. The competition for jobs, which have become scarce, is nastier. If we don't start thinking ahead, we will become more fearful of the changes that will come whether we want the changes or NOT. -

Chinese rail road builders helped us build our railroads. Now, I'm wondering if they were not already thinking, back then, Thoughts! It seems to me that the box cars are loaded with Chinese goods. -
Why Would You Hire Someone To Do Something For You

This deal may be guiet a necessity on some things, DG, and you have one that works well in the way we are talking about. But, con artists may even exist in that situation. There are thousands of situations where the con art may be much more prevalent than your situation, however! Thanks for your reply! I think people need to be more careful to guard themselves against con art. Believe me, that happens all the time, too. -
Georgia Ethics Is Not As Important To Its People

http://www.11alive.com/video/default.aspx?bctid+1011893139001 ATLANTA -- Critics say political interference gutted funding for Georgia's ethics commission, costing one of its two staffers her job, and costing the director much of her salary. "As Democrats we believe in a just transparent and open government," said Sen. Doug Stoner (D-Smyrna). "And this doesn't send the right signal in my opinion." Stoner says the cuts could undermine voter confidence in much of state government. The Ethics commission investigates campaign finance complaints into politicians. It also monitors lobby

Even after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Veterinary Medicine (FDA CVM) repeatedly asked Merial to change the product’s label and notify veterinarians that in some cases, Heartgard Plus had not worked as advertised. Has your veterinarian been notified. Paying good money to protect you loving pet is not just a loss of a lot of your hard earned money, but could very well mean that you are poisoning your pet with the money you spend. -
Taking care of China is not taking care of the dishes you keep in your china cabinet. China is making your hard earned money, and it's most likely not the Chinese people who made the products you buy with the famous Made In China sticker. Buy from your friends and family. If you don't have any friends; make some. I rather know the people I do business with, and who knows me.
