Something about soup in things just isn't right, to me. I tried the stuffed chicken breasts in the crockpot the other night and where it was really tasty the (cream of chicken) soup thickness made it hard to eat. It felt like it was the same thickness as it was straight from the can. The longer it cooked the thicker it became even with 2 cans of chicken broth and one soup can of water added to the soup in the beginning. My husband does put 1 can of cream of chicken soup in his chicken and dumplings but when it's done it's just a little thicker than water so I think the thickness of the sou

I'm thankful that it was caught and taken care of quickly. When these things happen I always consider them a blessing. I hope you feel better soon, if I can help you in any way give me a call.

I saw this on a talk show not long ago and it was really creepy. People meet (online) and have a "relationship" online, the show had quite a few women that fell for the same guy but all thought they were the only one "in love with him". They found out later that not only were there many others this person was messing with but that it was actually a woman and not a man. Sick, sick, sick people out there. A guy it happened to awhile back decided to expose the scam so others would know it was going on and there's a show on, I think it's called Catfish. I looked it up, here's a link. h

It smells really good. All I smell is the garlic butter I put in from the sauteed mushrooms and browning the chicken.

I found a recipe for stuffed chicken breasts in the crock pot I am trying either tonight or tomorrow night. You flatten out the chicken breasts then roll them with stuffing inside (keep closed with toothpicks) before cooking them with cream of mushroom, cream of chicken or cream of celery soup. I'll brown them first now that I read this post. Hope the stuffing stays in. I've been wanting chicken and dressing for a week now so I thought this might be pretty good.

We saw that one last week. That Opie sure got around, even if he didn't know what to do with them after he got em'.

Another thing from this episode we just laughed about is when Andy explained to Opie that Helen was his girl. Opie asked if they would get married someday. Andy said "I don't know we might" and Opie says ---------- I don't care if she's my wife or my Mother, as long as she's in the family. Today he would require some serious therapy for that comment. Wow what a pure and simple time. I miss what little of it I remember.

Andy was talking to Opie about dating an older girl and he said he dated a girl that was in the "upper" 5th grade one time while he was in the "lower" 5th grade. I don't remember upper and lower of the same grade. Do any of you guys ? Note: This is the episode where Opie buys his teacher (Ms. Crump) stockings as a present because he likes her. Bless his heart, Barney is giving the boy advice on courting a girl.

I always smile at strangers and more often than not I speak to them. I guess I really don't think "flirting" because in our world today we still need as many people as we can get that are friendly. Yesterday I was at the grocery store. A man and little boy were standing in front of the jello / pudding shelf while the woman was a few feet up the isle looking at things. The father smiled at me and I said something like "If you guys park in front of the jello & pudding it makes shopping with us a bit easier right?" Well he laughed and agreed but the woman turned and gave me a "that's m

My biggest dipper food is an Arby's roast beef. I must have Horsey sauce on the top, middle and bottom of the roast beef then at least two more packets for dipping. Yum.

Love mustard, mayo and ketchup but for some reason the thought (and taste) of hot dill pickles on a burger is just not right.

I'm going to have to take a ride on Whitlock. This is the third place to eat with someone's favorite food on that road.

I haven't eaten at the one in Gadsden but a friend of my husbands has and told him they were the same in taste. Both are delicious !!!

Anyone know where you can get a good Gyro

I actually thought about that when I made the post. After going to one of those someone needs to buy us lunch. -
This one is the best I have ever eaten as far as catfish and sides. Not local but Top of the River in Anniston Alabama is the They have wonderful catfish, slaw, collards and jalapeno cornbread. It causes an uncontrollable, gluttonous eating frenzy.

Glad you are back. You do know you can get on pcom and make us laugh from Florida too right ?

On Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Guy went to a cafeteria on Main Street in Tucker that looked really good. I would love to try some of the places he goes to but I'm thinking we would have to get back home in a cow trailer.

Just don't watch it when you are hungry. You will change your mind on what to cook for dinner with every different show.

Boy did they miss out on some good food. I know the place looks a bit questionable but it sure is good. I did look myself at their health score when I first walked in. It was 97 if I'm not mistaken. -
Gyro - Grecian Gyro - Virginia Ave. - Atlanta Brunswick Stew - I hate traditional b. stew but Dave Poe's BBQ has one I call chili stew, different taste and texture. Delish ! What are some of yours ?

I just called my brother in law and asked him, he was the one I went with, it's the one you are talking about on Virginia Ave. off 85. Grecian Gyro. Yum !! I feel a field trip coming on soon. Have you tried Dave Poe's BBQ there on Whitlock ? It's really good. I think we need a "The best thing I ever ate" post like they do on Food Network.
