This Dog's Final Day Proves We Should Live Every Day Like It's Our Last

Add me to the "I can't read it" list......I'm sure it is a lovely story, though. -
Thoughts and prayers to Evelyn, Phil, Sherry & Angela. You will be missed Uncle Ro!

Thanks for the advice - I'll pass it along!

I have a friend that has a kitty that has been stuck in a tree for about 4 days - about 50 feet up - with no lower branches. Everyone she's called wants $250-$350 to get her down plus mileage. Does anyone have any helpful ideas? TIA!

I feel bad for her. She's a nice person and I can't count the number of times I've been in there & seen less than desirable people be rude to her. I hope they caught the guy and I hope she is doing ok.

All I can say is that I'm glad none of the men in my family have your same attitude, Nitr0.

Calling a woman a bitch & telling another to piss off.....very classy, Nitr0........how very unattractive of you.

I probably wouldn't like it being forced on me but on the other hand, I've always allowed my children a certain level of privacy, especially with a doctor or nurse. If I didn't trust the doctor/nurse, I wouldn't be taking my child there to begin with. I would say under age 16, I would also like to see the questions being asked and may also like to know how they present their information......I don't see anything wrong with asking the doctor/nurse to give me a trial run or better yet, make sure they have a standard they are following for each child. I think the fear here is that you don't know

And it's a good question! Unfortunately, can't help with the math....

I read an article by the director and I don't think his intent was to offend......he pretty much said he tried to bring the story to the 21st century. It is a movie, after all.

Sorry to hear about Ms. Tripcony - such a sweet, sweet lady. Thoughts and prayers to Jon, Jan & families.

I read a up on this story a couple of days ago. Yes, it is heartbreaking. I'm sure quite a shock to the parents and a horrible decision to have to make, however, a doctor said this has really gone past life-support and is basically death-support because she is brain dead. He said doctors need to be more forthcoming and open with patients when these things happen. Some people get a false sense of hope. She doesn't have a brain injury - she is brain dead.....I hope the coming days will help them find peace to make the decision to let her go. There is a similar but opposite story in Texas, I

Also try Warehouse of Hope located at 100 Hunter Road, Douglasville GA - they are a food and clothing ministry. Bless you for going the extra mile for your family!

I would love to see some statistics regarding crimes against children. It seems to me that way too often they are being failed by DFACS and/or our judicial system. I would rather this guy be sitting in jail for a long period of time rather than someone that got caught with some weed. Priorities folks, please! Put the weed guy to work on something that would benefit the public, like training a seeing eye dog or something and have the killer sit in the cell & think about what he did.

I would also be curious to know how our county compares to other counties in the state that are our size with registered sex offenders. Our list seems to just keep growing and growing.

Evan Blake did not close - they moved across the road, beside Johnny's......still in New Hope! =)

Thoughts and prayers to Sandy's family from the Class of '84. She was always such a sweet person....

Yes, it was Carmen Ferguson. I can't remember if a "true" answer was ever given for the reason. There was rumors of different things from a dispute with his parents to him having some type of physical sex parts that was hidden for years by his family and then came to the surface and blew up. I just remember it being a total shock that a schoolmate did something so horrible. I remember him being kind of quiet in high school and I also remember him being made fun of.....very sad all the way around. You never know when someone is a ticking time bomb.....

Prayers for this family......

It''s only wrong if he wasn't provoked and I'm not convinced he wasn't provoked and that's my opinion.
